I was redoing my gaming setup since I had a tiny desk where barely anything could fit. I then saw this desk and decided it was finally the time I revamp my setup. The desk is pretty sturdy and looks very nice in my room. I can fit numerous things on this desk. The assembly instructions weren't too clear, so I messed up assembly on my first try of assembling this desk. I then figured it out and got it on my 2nd attempt. This desk is like having 2 desks but in 1! I'm using the long side for my gaming setup and the short side for my school/office use. First, I got the 60 inch version of this desk. It came super fast. Less than 2 days and at my door. Well packaged, no damage at all. Now the assembly... I put this desk together in all of 45 minutes. By myself. And that is with the extra time I took to grab a speed square and square the legs as I was tightening the back braces. After reading a few of the reviews here complaining about how rough the assembly was... I have to say I just don't get it. Unless you are somehow unable to follow simple pictograms that are all of 7 steps (with the 7th step being turning the desk upright after completing the assembly) these reveiws make zero sense to me. One reveiwer said he had to drill holes!? Really? If you need to drill holes you haven't put it together correctly AT ALL. Seriously... the people complaining about assembly almost put me off from buying this... for no reason. Ay any rate, its sturdy and will work fine for my purposes. I'm sitting on the edge of it as I write this. Now the caveat... The above "about this item" section states that this desk comes with a monitor shelf. It doesn't. Its only the desk. It doesnt matter to me. But it may to some of you. I paid 130 for this. I'd say if you can get it for 95 or so, that price would be about right. Thats just me. I guess its worth whatever you may thinkbits worth for your situation. All in all, I'm happy. Its a nice desk that weighs less than 50lbs and is plenty sturdy enough for me. ... show more

Ultimately I am happy with the purchase but about halfway through the instruction manual the images become mirrored which made it difficult to follow along, and on the last step when you secure the top of the desk to the supports about half of the holes did not lineup properly. I build desks like these all the time so I know it was constructed correctly, it was just poor quality control by the manufacturer. ... show more

Assembly went okay, I wanted the L shape on the opposite side, made this one work though. My biggest grief about this was the horrible damage to the box and I had pieces damaged inside as well. Only option is to get a complete replacement of the desk, not a partial refund for damages unfortunately, so I just kept it cause the shipping was already 4 days past the “guaranteed” delivery date. ... show more

Took about an hour to assemble. Instructions easy enough to follow but easy to mess up. This desk has a lot of parts, so even if you follow the instructions perfectly the desk can end up being slightly uneven on hard floors. Maybe it will settle over time but I had to use cardboard under the left legs to resolve a slight slope. ... show more

I really like this desk! My number 1 suggestion is to use the paper directions and video directions at the same time. Make sure you pay attention to the holes in the bars while putting it together, otherwise you will have to take it apart and reinstall it. It was pretty easy to put together. I would highly suggest that you scrap the diagrams and build it backwards. Built it the way that the instructions showed, and after 2 hours last night, I quit. This morning started with the tops and built it backwards, as it was the only way to assemble it. It took me 30 minutes this morning.

Although I was not given any instructions, they luckily had a video on their website which provided me with walk through steps on how to build. This is a very durable desk with a lot of space.
