Compared to other cheaper furniture this desk is one of the best pieces of "Build it yourself" furniture I have ever purchased, for the price. Instead of cheaply made plastic legs this desk comes with all metal parts, thicker plasterboard wood tops, and metal structural supports to keep this desk sturdy. Leg room and sturdiness are objective pros you'll find with this L desk. The assembly part can be hard for some, however. Another meh moment for me was realizing that this 66 inch desk appeared larger in the Amazon image than it actually is. It's not wide from wall to belly as I'd like it to be, but it's actually a well crafted desk and the surface has a nice polish to it so no residue clings. ... show more

Love the size of the desk but putting it together was difficult. A lot of the screws were not aligned all the way. I had to push and shove part around to get it right. Personally would not recommend due to assembly. Edit: Customer service is very nice and understanding. I would buy another desk from them. ... show more

Arrived on time and in great condition unlike many other reviewers have mentioned and shown defects. FOLLOW DIRECTIONS CAREFULLY. The instructions are concise but could throw you off if you do not double check where holes on the parts line-up. The models used in the photos both sitting and standing behind the desk (at the “L”) must be 4’7” because these photos make this desk appear bigger than it really is BUT the dimensions are true. TIP: Instructions have you attach the two large desk tops upside down, which if you assemble this by yourself, good luck turning it upright, so I was able to attach the desk tops with desk right side up (by screwing in screws from underneath). Screws go in easily… or maybe I just got lucky. Very happy with the product though the 18 3/4” table/desk top width is a bit narrow for Monitor and keyboard, but does fit. ... show more

Shipping had given it a couple gashes in the compressed wood. For what I paid for it. It was worth having big gashes. Usablility is pretty darn good.

Pros: Very spacious, sturdy and easy to assemble. Cons: N/A - though individuals unfamiliar with flat-pack furniture assembly may have some trouble given the atypical manner in which the desk is assembled. Just started my graduate studies and needed a reasonably priced, customizable and spacious desk - which this particular model delivers. I was particularly impressed with the solid feel of its' construction once completed. Would highly reccomend for individuals valuing practicality over "form". I've seen desks costing 10x as much that don't offer the level of practical space that this one does. Sure - there's no rosewood trim or gilded accents to be found, but I'd much rather USA le space than a "conversation piece for dinner parties". Side note: I ended up mounting a set of movable monitor-mounts in the cutoff corner section and it worked brilliantly, with my laptop/base station/accessories at left on the small section and my various notes, reports, spectra, etc. On the right allowing for a very efficient/effective layout. ... show more
