They are made in India- very soft leather. At first the right shoe seemed a bit tight, but after trying it at home a couple of times, it actually loosens arounf your foot and is very comfortable. Try on a couple of times at home before you think it is tight. I have a high instep and ordered one size higer- were 8 and ordered 8.5 because this is what equates to european 39. ... show more

these were great initially, it’s a classic style and they’re very comfortable. Unfortunately, they started to squeak with every step after wearing them for a few weeks and when I say squeak, I mean high pitched super annoying LOUD squeaking that you can hear from another room.
