I have been ordering the Grands series by Cole Haan for at least 10 years or since they first came out with the flashy colored rubber tennis shoe soles on wingtip and oxford shoes. This particular series is by far the most comfortable dress/casual shoe I own. The shoe is well made and light. The tongue of the shoe is made of a cloth/elastic material that is sewn to the sides so that it does not get out of place. I was worried at first that this would be a problem for my high instep wide foot. It is no problem at all. In fact, it is a great improvement. The shoes go on and off very easily, yet they remain snug all day without ever feeling tight. I think alot of thought was put into this shoe design. I highly recommend getting a pair. I would buy a second pair of another color, but, as usual, they are not available.

I have had these shoes about a week. It feels like you are wearing a running shoe, but it's a great looking dress shoe. I bought a medium width, which is normal for me, but the shoes feel a bit wider than the Cole Haan loafers I have worn in the past. Also, the area under the ankles rises a bit higher than I would like. I think that will get more comfortable as I wear them more. The design is a bit unique in that there is no loose tongue. The tongue is a stretchy material like what you see at the top of the heel area. I like it but it is a bit different than a traditional oxford style shoe. On the whole, I am very pleased and it's great to get to the end of the day and not have your feet sore and tired. I am looking at some other colors for a future buy. Great job, Cole Haan.

1. I absolutely love, love, love these shoes! 2. Cole Hann had these shoes on their website for $139, as opposed to $198 on Amazon. I ordered them from Cole Hann directly, BUT they cancelled the order saying that they didn't have them. Paying much more through Cole Hann's Amazon store, I was able to get them.... SIGH~~~~~

The greatest dress shoe I have ever owned! I dress business casual to work and these are awesome. You can even dress up formally with these and pull it off. I now own a few different pairs of Cole Haan shoes, all of which are great. I love these particularly because I use custom orthotics and these shoes accommodate them very well. You do not feel like your feet are too tight or anything, the fit is just right. I feel that they are true to size. They are lightweight and I would consider this to be more of a hybrid between looking like a dress shoe but feeling like a sneaker. I was not given a discount or anything when buying these. I bought and wore on my own and this is my true opinion.
