Top Amazon Reviews

  • Comfortable, stylish, but NOT DURABLE!!!
Size: 10.5 Color: Tan Leather Burnsh
I rarely write reviews so heads up: this product is a stinker. First the good: you can pick these up on amazon for sub $50 if you get lucky, I think I paid around $70-80. They are very comfortable and stylish, if you want an affordable take on the clean classic leather sneaker that brands like common projects have turned into an (expensive) modern icon. Great, what’s bad then? I’ve only worn them about 20 times, and they are now unwearable. I questioned the leather from the start and decided to try to be extra careful with them, but the leather started deteriorating right off the bat, with my pant leg wearing through the nice brown color on the the left shoe and into the lighter color underneath, see my pic. Like seriously, I think the top color is airbrushed on or something. Then the color started coming off the left shoe’s toe, revealing light brown underneath. The last straw was just now I accidentally stepped on a piece of packing tape and it touched the toe of my shoe. I pulled it off, and along came the color of the leather! Now the shoes are completely unwearable. Wtf? Weirdly, the leather on the right is also degrading noticeably, but not nearly as fast as the left shoe. My recommendation: if you want a shoe that will look fly for an event or two, these are a decent pick, but if you want to use this look as part of your regular wardrobe then look elsewhere: the breeze from a butterfly wing can take the color off these puppies 🦋 ... show more

  • Same shoe, different color, different fit? Unacceptable!
Size: 11.5 Color: Tan Leather Burnsh
Firstly I purchased a black pair in 11,5D and really liked them accepting the fact that they won’t last too long. Their soft leather has a nice soft feel but it wrinkles and stains easily. Anyhow, I ordered a second black pair and a third in light brown, both same size. To my surprise these supposedly same shoes had an entirely different fit! The brown was much tighter and was hard and unpleasant to wear for the whole day while the black felt soft and comfortable in just a couple of hours. I thought I received a wrong size but the printing inside indicated that both shoes where 11,5D. So I decided to measure them. From the pictures attached it’s obvious that despite the fact that they are the same model made by the same manufacturer or production line, there are not the same! This is the first time something similar happens to me after buying hundreds pairs of shoes! I am worried that these are not original CH’s! Buyers be aware! There is something “fishy” here! ... show more

  • The bad reviews are right
Size: 9 Color: White Leather
I really wish I would have listened to the negative reviews about this shoe. I'm not sure if its by design or if it is just poor quality control, but on the left shoe especially there was a spot on the heel that curved inward causing a very sharp ,and very painful, edge leading the shoe to cuts deep into your heel. I have a cut, and even bleed into my sock! Keep in mind , I wore this shoe with socks and to my office. I wanted a pair of white sneakers - I probably should've just got Stan Smiths, or Converse, or Vans, or maybe just something from Payless rather than waste money on these. ... show more

  • Do NOT buy in the navy blue color
Size: 11 Color: Navy Leather Brnsh
This review is specifically for the navy blue color. I have a few pairs of this shoe in various colors and love all the other colors. However, the blue dye rubs right off of these. The white soles actually get stained blue from occasionally rubbing against the leather upper as you walk. Blue dye also comes right off on a cleaning rag. I'm going to check Cole Haan for a warranty replacement. ... show more

  • Shoes are very nice and seem to be of good build
Size: 10 Color: Tan Leather Burnsh
Shoes are very nice and seem to be of good build, but the back part of the shoe protrudes way too much and gave me aweful blisters to the point where it was unwearable even with thick socks.

  • Lightweight, super comfortable, price is key!
Size: 10 Color: Navy Leather Brnsh
First off, got them for a steal like $40-50 which is great for Cole Haan products. Second, one of the lightest pairs of shoes I own outright comparable to some of my pairs of gym shoes so you don’t even feel these on your feet. Drove for 6 hours in them and had no discomfort. Third, very comfortable, perfect fit. My only gripe is the white sole will require regular cleaning granted I probably shouldn’t wear them out as often in crappy weather but I love them so I don’t mind. I read some reviews that question the quality, worn them about 10x and haven’t had any issues to date. Probably will pick up another pair in the spring as these are my fave CH shoe I’ve purchased over the years. ... show more

  • Nice Dressier Sneakers
Size: 9.5 Color: White Leather
These are good-looking sneakers. They have a simple, low profile design and are the right width. Their coloring is more of an off-white vs. pure white, but that's a good thing so they don't blind you. Some people have written reviews complaining about the heel area of the shoe being ultra stiff and tearing into their Achilles. That never happened to me. I've always worn these with crew or dress socks, so maybe that helps prevent it. I've worn my pair at least 20 times now and they're holding up. No horribly deep creases in the uppers and no peeling or anything (my pics were taken today). They're easy to clean; a wet paper towel does the job. The shoes are pretty comfortable. They have just enough cushioning (I have bony feet) to not hurt. Where the shoes are lacking is support. After a day of wearing them my feet sometimes feel sore. I have low arches, and end up with tender feet if I wear them for an 8-10 hour period or walk a lot in them. I like the look of these shoes a lot so I'll keep wearing them, but not if I'm going to walk a lot. Inserts will probably help. ... show more
