The "W" stands for Women, not Wide. These are (B) normal width. They are made for fat feet though which is why multiple people erroneously think they are 'wide' size. If you're normal weight these will likely be roomy and sloppy on your foot. I'm 5'3", 115lb size. Even with thick socks on these sandals are loose. They are the same material as the Totes brand Sol Bounce slides, but don't have the same comfy, no slip foot bed. These have a preset groove for your toes and it's not comfortable or useful. This material will shrink if left in the direct sun - more so for darker colors - I have noticed. However, the sandals mainly shrink in length not girth. Very unhelpful. I tried to sun shrink a pair of the Sol Bounce down to be tighter on my foot but that's not were the shrink happened. They were shorter and still sloppy wide. I got the halogen blue color. Size 7. These are nicely made shoes but they are huge!! I normally wear a size 9&1/2 to a 10. So I ordered a size 10. They were at least a full inch & a half too big. Look like boats on my feet. So I’m returning them. So there NOT true to size!

These are great sandals. They do seem to run 1/2 to 1 whole size small. I wear a 6 normally and purchased 6.5 which are fine but a 7 would have been better. Comfortable to wear for extended hours and in/out of water I don’t seem to have foot sliding
