I’ve recently furnished pretty much an entire temporary apartment with low cost Amazon furniture, so i’ve become quite accustomed to the ambiguous directions and issues with this stuff, but boy this one was by far the hardest. Starting off, yes, like many of the products on here the directions are quite vague, specifically when it comes to installing the riser. Secondly, the lack of QC on the screw holes on this thing was laughable. For the riser, the screw holes were not only completey uneven, they were also about a half inch off. One was in the top middle the other was in the front back and the lid top has a shorter side so that it closes flush and nothing to indicate that until you realize after you’ve finished that it is wrong. The other part of the top was also off, and the holes to fit the setting knobs in were too small. I basically had to DIY drill the whole thing. Other than that. It looks really nice, it’s quite stable, and the lid does stay open or closed even if you put weight on it and it’s a great size for the price you pay so I’m super happy with it. I’d certainly recommend having a drill and a strong drink or three when setting this up.

This is a great table, works great looks nice and is sturdy. Good for crafts. I like to color and work on my laptop. The cubbys are a bit small wish they were deeper to hold my apointment book and file folders. Don't miss out, shop for yours.

Design and Appearance: The coffee table has a sleek and modern design that will likely complement many living room decor. It looks great and seems to be made of good quality materials. Initially, I thought a piece was missing, but it turned out to have fallen out in our mail room. The piece did not appear damaged which was nice. Assembly Experience: While the instructions were detailed, the actual assembly process was a bit frustrating. The screws provided were difficult to tighten all the way and the provided tool started to hurt my hand so I ended up using my own screwdriver (manual) for better control, which helped, but it was still more difficult than expected. Definitely doable but would recommend an electric screwdriver.
