  • Great boat and incredible for the money
I’ve owned a 10’ Walker bay rigid inflatable with an inflatable floor, this seems just as nice. The valves are identical, I used the same car battery pump to pump it up. The transom is the same thick plastic. I like that the flooring has aluminum slats but I wonder if I’ll think it’s enough when I’m in it. The oarlocks are identical and the oars seem the same. I have had it inflated for two days in the backyard and it seems to have no leaks. I’ll use it and post a further review later. I’ll be using it as a dinghy for my sailboat and a runabout fishing boat in the puget sound. The Walker bay one was great and three times the price, this appears to be as good at first inflation and examination. Edit:I took it out in puget sound with my dog and my torqeedo motor, it’s definitely lighter than the Walker bay, in general I think I prefer it. I’m not 100% certain it is as reliable but it has now been inflated for two weeks I think, it’s a definite success. Even at this point if it leaks air and I have to patch it or glue it there is no way a Walker bay or west marine one for $1500 is three times the value. It is probably 10’ overall, with 9.5 usable so slightly smaller overall. ... show more

  • An Impressive Inflatable!
I am impressed with the quality of this boat. It is a true value if you are looking for a nice stowable tender or something to get you out on the water. It inflates and deflates quickly with the included pump and it is easy to fold back up to store in the included storage bag. Great functionality for the price and it is in the same class as much more expensive inflatables. ... show more

  • Solid for the price
This arrived 4 days ahead of the Amazon estimate. Packaged well and no damage. We took it out on the lake today and I was shocked at how easy it was to setup. As someone else said in the reviews it took no more than 20 minutes to get it inflated. That includes installing a couple of extra accessories I purchased for comfort. My wife and I had no issue carrying it to the waters edge with everything but the kids inside. A couple handles towards the front of the boat could've gone a long way but we managed. 4 of us (2 adults, 2 young kids) went out on it to fish (600lbs with gear). It was a tight fit- im not sure we will all 4 go out again. 3 is a stretch depending on their size/extra gear. 2 adults however could comfortably fit on this with gear. My trolling motor delivery got delayed so I was forced to use the paddles (ouch). I expected cheap, short paddles to the point where I had already added some to my Amazon cart, but to my surprise the ones included were actually solid and plenty long. No issues there (except me being out of shape). The boat is comfortable all-considering. I bought a cushion/storage combo to put over the metal seat. It made a huge difference and was a cheap add on. I also bought a better quality rope that floats- may not have been necessary but didn't hurt. No leaks, no holes. A small amount (less than a cup) of water was in the back of the boat when we got back but we didn't notice where it came from so im assuming it was from rowing or fishing. Putting the boat away took a bit longer than setting up- probably 30-45 minutes. I remember being shocked at how big the provided bag was when I first set up the boat. It's at this point you'll understand why lol. Its folded perfectly when you get it from Amazon, but its a bit more difficult to fold it back up when youve used it. It takes a few tries to fold it correctly to fit in the bag- also when I tried to lift the bag back in the car ...the bag ripped. Very audible ripping sound. Nothing sharp pointing out or anything. Fortunately i was still able to get it in the car and later the garage, but now I'm concerned how future trips to the lake will work. The bag didn't seem cheap, but an 80lb dinghy certainly seemed to have put it to the test. For less than 500 it's hard to complain. It's a solid quality boat that is (overall) easy to setup and put away. Im not sure if the bag ripping was due to quality or human error, but that certainly was disappointing for the first trip. I look forward to the boat with a trolling motor where I can spend more time on the water. Happy with the purchase in the end. I'll follow up when its put away for the year. ... show more

  • Value for money
So far so good. Tight fit for 4, but relatively easy to inflate/deflate and does the job. Excellent value for the money and perfect as a tender for occasional use.

  • Defective boat, terrible customer support
First of all, this boat was defective right out of the box. It had a puncture in the portside bladder, and would not hold air. There were instructions in the manual about repairing leaks, and they mentioned an adhesive, but there was none included with the boat, and they did not specify what type of adhesive to use. I sent them an email, with a very simple question… What type of adhesive should I use for this repair? I got back an auto-reply stating that before they could answer my question, I needed to provide them with the following: where I purchased the boat the purchase ID number the tracking number screenshots of the two items above my full name and ZIP Code They said that if I provided them with all of this information, they would get back to me with the answer to my question within 24 hours. Not long after I provided them with all of this I got another email from the same address, essentially asking for this same information all over again. So I sent it all again. It occurred to me that if they really wanted people to be satisfied with their products, they should be happy to answer my question, even if I had bought the boat used, from a previous owner. It was totally stupid. They did finally provide me with an answer the next day, saying that I should use standard PVC cement and follow the instructions in the manual. I experimented, using one of the patches provided with the boat, cutting the patch in half, and applying three thin coats of adhesive, as the manual instructed, and then putting the two pieces together. They said not to disturb the patch for 24 hours, to provide for a sturdy bond, before re-inflating the boat. 24 hours later, I picked up the two pieces of patch, and they immediately fell apart. There was absolutely no ‘bond’ whatever, indicating that their adhesive and procedure did not work. I had been skeptical when they told me to use standard PVC cement, because the manual had mentioned vinyl a couple of times, and I thought perhaps I should not be using PVC cement at all, if the boat was in fact made of vinyl. So I mentioned this in another email to their customer support, asking them if the boat was made of PVC or was it vinyl? This was their answer: “Please be informed that, PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) is a type of vinyl. Vinyl is a more general concept encompassing various materials made from ethylene.” They gave me the definition of ‘PVC’,.. No mention of what the boat was actually made of! Once again,.. totally stupid. Having previously found valuable answers to many of my problems on YouTube, I did a search there and found a nice gentleman that told me how to locate a leak and then install a patch that was specifically made for vinyl. Seeing the dismal failure of the PVC patch, I ordered a kit for repairing vinyl (on Amazon), applied the vinyl patch to the puncture, and the boat is now holding air just fine. It is my hope that this review will let potential buyers of this boat know that if anything goes wrong, they can expect hopelessly bad customer support. I have found this to be the case with several other Chinese companies I’ve dealt with in the past. I will keep the boat, and it will serve its purpose, but I have to say I’m disappointed that it’s been so much trouble, just to get a useable item. ... show more
