Awesome pair of sweatpants. My son is tall and skinny and these fit him perfectly. He is 6 years old and usually wears a medium in big kids. He weighs about 65 lbs. he is 4.6 feet tall. I ordered a size 8 and they fit perfectly. He really loved the taper and the feel. They are a stretchy cotton/poly feel without the snagging sensation you get from some products. They have exhibited piling at all after 3 months of weekly wear and wash/drying. My son is an active rough and tumble kind of kid and these are his favorite pants. He absolutely loves the design and piping.

I have had trouble finding a waist line that fits my son. He his skinny and most pants waist is really too big for the length. I measured my son just as it was mentioned to do. He is 4'11'' and size 12th is just perfect. In most brands, he would fit a 14 for the length but the waist would be too large.

The Size 8 fits my 5 yr old perfectly (4’1” & 60 lbs). We use them for his ice skating lessons, indoor soccer and outdoor soccer when it’s cooler. They’re the perfect pant for this! They’ve stood up for a couple seasons and I’m now going to buy the next size up for when he grows. I’ve washed them at least 20 times and they still look great!

My son HATES wearing jeans, so I ordered these along with some other similar pants. These look AWESOME on him, and he can't wait to wear them to school! My only advice is to size up! My son is 10 years old and very petite for his age! 10's generally run a bit bigger on him, and I did check out the size guide to be sure they'd fit him correctly. Although he should have had room to grow in these, they were just too short. I was afraid of buying these in a bigger size since they fit nicely in the legs and stomach, but I went ahead, returned the 10's, and I bought the 12's anyway. The 12's are a little looser on him, but he can still wear them without having to tie them at the waist, and they are long enough too. I did debate on giving these 4 stars due to the inconvenience of having to return them and buy new one's, but the return process was really easy, and they are a really great pair of pants.
