Had this CNC for about a week and a half setting it up, and learning everything online about CNC's. Even set up a game controller to control the xyz axis's. Everything was working great until I hit RUN on the CNC UI for my G-code program. That's when I immediately smelled electrical fire odor. About 10 seconds later, I saw smoke coming from the control box, and the main harness wire was hot. Pulled all cables to the box, and shut everything off. Game over, havent had this long enough to enjoy it, especially at the lowest price Ive seen for a 400mmx400mm machine. Sending it back. Will consider buying it again, but I can only hope it doesnt fail again, otherwise, there will be a second 1 star review, and that will spell bad news for this machine and its company. UPDATE: So found out the G-code programming that I had made for my design through Fiverr may have been too high in the settings for the machine's motor RPM's. I told my seller (on Fiverr) what happened, and he was very concerned and wanted to fix the issue. I ordered this machine again after returning the other one, and it ran the program just fine. Now, this raises the rating of the machine, but there are still pros and cons. PROS: great price! I have searched all over Amazon, and nothing beats this price point for the workspace. NOTHING!. In fact, there are four other sellers of this same exact model, and all have higher prices as much as $599! So I saved huge! CONS: The machine's motor is small in height and size, so it cant cut things that are low on the wasteboard. It is also low in power (75W). This means your projects cannot be produced fast enough, leading to slow production. You will need to get a longer motor and more powerful motor upgrade. They make 300, 500, and 800W models by RATTMOTOR that are very good with good prices. Otherwise, this machine is good after a few days of use, and I hope to not experience any more trouble outside of the G-code anytime soon. ... show more

I worked with their customer service and this seems to be a faulty component, they were more than glad to assist me. I cant complain actually they were great. When I open the box I saw some red flags, but I didn't mind since the machine was looking great, I started using it yesterday after some busy days and for my surprise after 5 tests on soft pine the spindle wont go off, even when I am pressing the emergency button it keeps spindling unless I disconnect the machine... ... show more
