My primary conclusion is that this monitor looks good, is easy to use, and at my purchase price of $120 is a great value. The monitor worked plug and play with my Windows 11 PC with the correct resolution of 2520x1680 using 1 USB-C cable. It was also able to mirror my iPad screen using USB-C. The monitor supports passthrough charging, so you can plug your power brick into the monitor's other USB-C port and charge your device. A good feature to have as you're probably going to need to plug in to power if you're using it more than a couple hours. It uses about 3.5-7.5W (not bad!) depending on brightness from my testing, and it also features a low-power mode that I did not test. The screen is sharp with good contrast and good brightness for indoor use. The aspect ratio is really nice, I spend a lot of time reading and typing in documents so the increased vertical space is lovely. There was minimal ghosting and very minor backlight bleed at the corners. My unit featured two small display defects. There is one dead pixel (always black) and there is one pixel where the green and blue subpixels are dead (The pixel appears red on a white background but it does turn off with a black background). These are both small and located away from the center of the screen so I only really notice if I'm intentionally looking for them. I wonder if these are the display panels that didn't pass QC at an OEM laptop firm and that's why the quality otherwise so good. It came with a faux leather dust cover/case that includes magnets to act as a stand. It works alright as a stand, but feels flimsy and I would be anxious about the screen getting crushed if I put it into my backpack. All the cables you need to use the monitor come included, even a 5V 3A USB-A power brick. It appears from earlier reviews that it used to come with a plastic stand, but that is not advertised anymore and was not included in my unit. Overall, I like it a lot!

I really got more than I was expecting for the price. The screen is as advertised: 16", 2520x1680, very sharp. The colors are actually quite accurate, not at all what I expected for the price. While I don't intend to use it for color-critical work, I am a photographer and color casts on displays really bother me. This one is quite accurate straight out of the box. It works great with a single USB-C cable connected to my 13" Macbook Air.; in this configuration, the monitor will draw power and receive video input from the cable. What the listing doesn't advertise is that it actually supports pass-through USB-C PD. That means I can connect one USB-C cable (e.g. from a wall AC adapter) to the display to provide it power, then another USB-C cable between the display and laptop, and the laptop will drive the display and also receive power through the same cable. This feature is commonly found on more expensive non-portable monitors, but was a very nice unexpected surprise on this unit. I've only had it for a few days, but right now I only have two complaints, both of which are minor and more or less expected at this price: 1. It's very thin and light, which is great, but worries me for travel use. I'm afraid I might break it if I put it into my backpack. Luckily, it comes with a pretty nice cover that attaches magnetically and provides some degree of protection. I should mention that the cover also works well as a stand, so no separate stand is needed (but it does come with another one!). 2. The brightness controls approximately cover the 20-80% brightness range on my Macbook display. The upper end is bright enough for me, but I do wish the lower end was less bright. In very dim conditions (in a room with lights out), the intensity is kind of eye-burning. I'm curious to see how long this monitor will last. If it breaks within the first year or two, I'll certainly be back to update this review. But for now, my impression from the materials and its behavior so far is that it's of quite high quality.

Don’t lose the USB C cable if you can help it. Not all usb C cables will push video to this device. I did buy a backup mini hdmi to normal hdmi in case I ever do pack the wrong usb c cable. The video quality is good, and it packs up very thin in my laptop back. Makes it great for traveling and you need the extra screen space.

I got this to use as an extra screen while I sit on my couch and work from home on my pc. It works wonderfully and makes it so much easier to navigate my many tabs. I cannot speak to gaming or editing quality as I do not use it for those things, but it is great as just an extra monitor for work. It connects to my pc via the usb-c cable just fine as my laptop supports it. My husband's pc does not support display port functionality via usb-c though, so he uses that cord for power supply and then also uses the hdmi- hdmi mini cable for display and that works just fine on the few occasions he has used it. I will 100% be taking this monitor along with me whenever I travel as it is lightweight and very easy to throw in my laptop bag. Totally recommend if you're looking for a good quality, lightweight, portable monitor for your pc.

Bought this screen back in July 2023. Everything was fine at the beginning. But after only 5 months of normal use (only 3-4 hours a day, and not everyday), the screen started to randomly turn on and off itself. At first it would just went dark for a few seconds then came back on. But gradually it got worse and worse and eventually won't turn back on once go dark. I tried reconnecting (and replacing) the HDMI cable, reconnecting the power cord, and pressing and holding the power button. Nothing seems to have any direct effect. The screen can light up all of a sudden, stay on for a few minutes then turn off again. Absolutely drives me nuts. I would not recommend buying this screen.
