I used something similar to this with my three daughters 30 years ago. When I saw this I was hoping it would help curl my granddaughter’s hair like it did my daughters and it did!! Wonderful product. It helps naturaly curly hair get a more defined curl. Not sure it will curl straight hair, but it is a great product to define a babys curls without putting any harsh chemicals on a babys hair. The one main reason I love it is how awesome it works to combat cradle cap. I tried selsum blue shampoo, baby oil, and frequent washes and still the cradle cap returned. But with this product the cradle cap is kept at baby without constant washes. My one complaint is the fact that although it is called a lotion it is actually a liquid and makes it a bit harder to put on a babys hair. It has spilled out of my hand because it feels like your holding water in your palm. Some other reviews has said it leaves the hair oily. I would have to disagree. I purchased this for my little one when he was around 3 months old as I heard it helps control craddle cap. It's a liquid and I could use it to make a cute spike style which didn't get hard or gross feeling, just stayed pretty soft and held a shape. It may have even helped control flakes. However, his scalp was still red, and I found out this was due to eczema, so I probably shouldn't continue to use, as it has a slight baby smell which could trigger a flare up for him. If they made it in unscented I would consider buying again because the style is cute! I heard a little goes a long way with this stuff but within 2-3 weeks of not using it every single day I had used up almost 1/3 of the bottle when appling with cotton balls. ... show more
