I very much like this rolling rack. It’s sturdy and long enough to hang SEVERAL jackets. I really liked the bottom shelf that’s built into this rack as well. Right now, I am using on my enclosed porch to house extra, or off-season, jackets as well as totes of off-season shoes. It’s already been very handy that it came with casters. They make this coat rack a breeze to move around, and they also lock when you don’t want the rack to roll. My house is over 100yrs old, so being able to lock wheels on rolling things is almost a must on the porch that this rack is being used in. The assembly was very straight forward. My ten-year-old daughter wanted to help, and she had no problems following the included directions. All tools required for assembly were included, which was convenient. I had some worries when I say how many pieces the rack comes in, but they all fit together well and ended up being quite strong attachments between pieces. My only hiccup during assembly was one machine screw that just would not go in. Upon inspection, the receiving part hadn’t been tapped very well to accept the threads. This does mean that my rack is shy of one screw, but it’s in a place that doesn’t matter because the weight of the jackets will hold the top rod down without the need for a screw. Overall, I am very happy with this coat rack. It was a little concerning that one screw would not fit, but then again it didn’t affect the function of the rack. Definitely worth ordering despite the screw mix-up. ... show more

So I bought this with high hopes but was disappointed and I didn’t want to return it because I really just needed it now and I had ripped and used everything I found out about it being flimsy when I had already taken the time to build this. One of the wholes and or screws was defective because it would not screw in I tried both colored screws so the stick is held by another screw that doesnt belong there and it just fits in but it moves a lot. I do not recommend this product spend a bit more on something better. ... show more

I have so many heavy coats and my husband and so far since I got it it has not broken in me witch is what I wanted and it’s tall so even better and space for my extra shoes

OK...so, it's a good clothing rack. It's well-made and it's huge. It has nice casters and hold plenty of clothing. The fit and finish are good and it assembled easily. There is a lot of assembly...a lot. There's no way this has a 220lb weight rating. Maybe it wouldn't break, but it would definitely bend. I'm confident that a 50lb child hanging on this would bend it. Being off by that much costs a star. There's just no need to exaggerate your product specs that much. But you mentioned stealth-editing in the subject line...what of that? When I bought this item, it was listed with a 300lb weight limit. Now it only says 220lb, which I'm confident it also can't handle. What else are they lying about? Probably nothing, but I took another star away for the deception. I don't appreciate that kind of misleading activity on a product description. It sure looks like initial reviews rolled in and (accurately) hammered the posted weight limit, so they just edited the images and descriptions to lower it. ... show more
