While we actually got a 6 when I ordered a 4, and we had to return it due to timing to get another 4, I felt I should do a review anyway. I was nervous buying a formal dress without being able to feel the fabric and have her try it on first. The dress was gorgeous! I believe it would have fit my daughter perfectly true to size. The corset ties in back also connect to the shoulder, so it would be very forgiving size wise up top (I was able to tie the top to fit). Make sure the waist and hips and length fit based on the size chart. There will be a little leeway in the bust measurement. The top layer has applique lace, and I was very happy with all of the stitching I looked at. The interior lining fabric is 100% polyester, soft and was comfortable. There are multiple layers of tulle with applique, lace and lining, so a good thickness and not see through. The color, structure and fit were true to the listing. I just wish it had been the size 4, so my daughter could have worn it. If she needs a similar dress in the future, I wouldn't hesitate to get it again. It truly was gorgeous on her. I ordered Dusty Blue size 4, it came directly from Amazon warehouse and was actually a size 6, but the size tag wasn't visible through the bag. I'm sure if it had come shipped from the manufacturer, it would have been the correct size. ... show more

Purchased this for my daughters senior prom. It was even more gorgeous in person! The fit was perfect but we did take it to alterations to add an extra criss cross in the back to prevent any gaping. The color is gorgeous and definitely stands out in pics!

This is a beautiful dress, but I bought it as an adult and I hadn't realized the chiffon was so long in the back, even for someone tall. This dress is beautiful and runs true to size. The blue is stunning. My daughter is a size 6 and it fits pretty close to a 6. The top of the dress was slightly big due to the bra inserts so I’m having it altered. Overall, this was a great purchase. Only complaint was the dress had a heavy fish smell, however, I immediately put it in a freezer bag and into the freezer for a few days and the fish scent is totally gone. ... show more
