I recently purchased the 53 Inch Portable Closet Wardrobe for my wife to help us manage our growing collection of clothing and accessories. When it arrived, I was optimistic about getting it assembled and put to use quickly. However, the setup took longer than anticipated, roughly about 3 hours. The parts could have been packaged more separately to aid in easier identification and assembly. Despite the initial challenges, the completed closet wardrobe has proven to be a convenient and functional addition to our bedroom. Offering ample storage space, this portable closet features 3 hanging rods for items like tops, coats, and sweaters, and 6 shelves for additional storage. However, I would caution against overburdening each section with heavy objects, as I doubt its weight-bearing capacity. The dustproof and waterproof non-woven fabric zipper cover is a great feature, ensuring our clothes are protected from dust and the elements. Additionally, it is easy to clean and maintain. Although I encountered some difficulties during assembly, this portable closet has ultimately proven to be a useful and spacious storage solution for our clothing needs. For those looking to maximize their storage space without breaking the bank, this portable closet may be a worthwhile option – just be prepared to invest some time and patience during the assembly process.

Having an inexpensive extra storage closet comes at a cost - the cost it you have to put it together and it has lots of small pieces. Once you get it together - you are glad it was worth all the hard work. Luckily the directions were fairly easy to follow. The slower is fairly sturdy but it provides me with what I need - a place to store towels and other items. It is a good size and it is very versatile for what I need. It does have a way to close it and keep you items from getting too dusty. The feet on the closet should be of sturdier material but for the price you really should not expect it to function like a large wood piece.

I've been putting my children's winter clothes in bins over the summer, and it really hasn't worked well. First of all, the coats can be super puffy, so I have to use a bunch of bins (I have 4 kids and they each have a winter coat and lighter jacket, plus a rain jacket...so that adds up to a lot). Then we had mice get into the basement and nest in one of the bins...good feelings gone, I can tell you! Assembly was kind of crazy. It comes in a box with a bazillion poles and a bag of connectors, plus some strips of fabric for the shelves. It took me a little to figure out how to get it together, but once I did it wasn't so bad. It's just kind of time intensive. I decided to get this closet to hold all the winter boots, backpacks, and winter coats over the summer. It's perfect! It even has enough room for the snowsuits. It's fairly sturdy and fits well in our storage. I'm sold!

Nobody is going to be surprised when you tell them how much this costs; the quality lines up just about right with the price. For me it's perfect. We wanted something for guests to use a couple weeks a year that could then be boxed up as small as possible and put away. This does the trick. Total weight is around 7 pounds and the box is small. Contrasting this with a system that has metal shelves which can't be broken down. The poles are better quality than I'd expected, no issues at all with those, and the structure stands up fine, better so when weighted down with stuff. No concerns about holding a bunch of clothing, but it will for certain break if a child tries to take a step or hang. For someone who has more space for storage I'd definitely recommend something else, but if your primary goal is lightweight and storage friendly then this is perfect!
