After researching online for a reliable closet rod for my aunt’s guest bedroom. Her closet rod had fell apart after 20 plus years of use. I had gotten skeptical about whichever one to go for installing new one in her closet, one that wouldnt bent, or the rod would fall apart or split in half, if clothing got hanged on the rod. Wanted to make sure I would get one that can tolerate lot of clothing that is hanged up, coats and so on. I narrowed down to two where I would choose, and the customer reviews on here amazon had helped tremendously in deciding which one to go with. And this one is the one I chose. Took a day to get here. Instruction was very simple. One page with picture illustration how to install. Took me ten minutes to get all of this up and started adding clothing to hang up. Total of 84 inches wide. Over 50 clothing have been added along with maybe 6 coats and twelve jerseys. Im a hardcore niners fan. :) anyway, the rod stood and i do not see any stress on either ends side where would concern me. I was surprised, to find that I am not concerned at all. Yes the rod gets curves in middle with all of clothing yet it stood just fine. It even look like I could add maybe 15 or 20 more shirts to it and it should be not break. *wood knocking*. So there it is, thats my review for this product. I am pleased with my decision and the purchase of this. For anyone out there whose want to get sturdy rod for your bedroom closet, and not to want to have concerns about bending the rod. This product is the one for you. Omg! I search everywhere for something like this to help solve my issue with having too many clothes! I used this on my closet frame (after removing the closet doors)—to expand my closet. I tried a wooden rod from Lowes and it worked for a little while before it warped & all my clothes fell! This was the perfect solution—holds up a lot of weight! I did purchase metal hooks to. Place in the middle to prevent it from warping too! Definitely would recommend—certainly easy to assemble! Seems like it will be rust resistant too! ... show more
