  • Small Pack Size, Big Convenience
Color: Black V1
I have had a small packable camp chair in my trunk for years. I forgot how many times it has helped me out at kids sports and events where packing a chair just didn't cross my mind. It was important to me to replace that after it broke since I have become dependant on always having a chair in my car. I wanted something that packed small enough to throw in my trunk that I never had to take out in order to load something else up. I found out about Cliq through a random search and was immediately impressed by the size and portability. When fully compacted it is not much bigger than a Stanley style thermos. Size: Like I said above about the size of a stanley. It weighs in around 4lbs, and would fit in almost any daypack, backpack, or beach bag. You can buy a carry case for it separately. Assembly/Breakdown: First time out of the box with no instructions read, I was sitting in about 30-40 seconds. I am confident now that I know how to set it up it will take about 10-12 seconds. Breaking down is about the same but give it more like 20-30 seconds after you strap it up and secure it. It's really just as easy as advertised. However do not believe the video where the guy just throws it up and it "pops open" Yes that does happen, but there are some extensions you have to pull out first before sitting on it. To collapse the arms, you slide the extensions back in and then push the button at the center of all the arms and legs, this releases the lock and you can easily fold everything back up stuffing the chair material into the center. Comfort: Not the most comfortable chair out there, but as good or better than any I have found in this size range. I'm not looking for a soccer dad lay-z-boy. Just a chair I can easily set up and sit on with acceptable comfort. This checks the boxes. Extras: Unfortunately there's not much. I'd love to have the carry case but couldn't justify $30 for it. I put a large non climbing carabiner on it and it works fine for the walk to the fields. There is a mesh pocket that runs under the chair side to side that is nice for phone and key storage. Water bottle fit but become a bit uncomfortable if they are hard sided. Also if they are going to leak or sweat it will soak into the chair material so be aware. Otherwise this was a pretty clever add that most chairs do not have. Material: Solid. Much more robust than the other chairs I am used to. All the metal is rigid and the few plastic parts are very high quality. I have no concerns of this breaking due to normal use anytime soon. Overall this chair is pretty sweet and super portable. I have also got one for my wife's car since she is almost as bad at bringing chairs along as I am. From kids sports to hunting, if you need a portable small chair that easy easy to pack and quick to set up and break down, this one is worth it. ... show more

  • Heavy but worth it’s weight. So easy to deploy and relatively comfortable for this type of chair.
Color: Moss 1.0
We have a van camper that's short on storage and I’ve bought a succession of camping chairs in the last few years trying to find just the right one. After some swings and misses, I decided to try one of the much publicized Cliq chairs when I saw one on Amazon that was “used – like new“. What the heck? It was about 80 bucks and worth giving a shot. It arrived looking like it had never been used or opened, and although it’s pretty heavy, the engineering is really impressive. Easy to pop out, solid to sit in, a good sitting angle (which not all of these type of chairs are), not too low to the ground for seniors like us, and sturdy front legs with the right angle to push and stand up (a lot of the ultra-lightweight backpacking chairs are tip-prone when trying to stand). I’m 5‘3“ and I was comfortable, so I got a second one for my husband who is 6‘2“ - he thought it was relatively comfortable, too. (NB: I also got two Cliq Lounges for us. They are similarly easy to deploy and solid and relatively comfortable for what they are, but the chairs are a better solution if you just want to pull your camper over, take a couple of chairs out to enjoy the view and have some lunch before you head back off again. That’s the sort of thing we would use them for. The Lounges would be for longer sitting, sky watching at night, that sort of thing. I am a fan. Now if they make them out of titanium someday, I would consider replacing all four with lighter ones. They are heavyish….) Also, a big shout out to Cliq's customer service folks. I had lots of discussions with them before we also decided to try the larger lounge chairs, purchased directly through the company during a big Labor Day sale. They were great, they did follow up and contacted me to see how I like them and even contacted me to remind me that my 30 day trial period was expiring in case I was thinking about returning them. How many companies do that?! A list of the other chairs we've tried: REI Flex-lite dream (comfortable bed really hard to put together. Took about 10 minutes and hard on Summers to get everything pulled into place. ) Eureka, high-back lounge. (Solid, comfortable, but huge and oh, so heavy) GCI Pico chair (they don't fold up and down in a smaller or easier than S, but it's upright, directors chair, not something we would lounge in. Good for dinner at a table, I guess.) Various quad chairs, both cheap, and pricey. (Never liked them, although they're easy enough to deploy. But they're long and bulky and space is an issue with us in a small B van) We decided the Cliq Chairs hit the sweet spot for us. (If we ever had a larger vehicle with storage, which we never will, we would once again get some patio style padded, zero gravity, lounge chairs. We had some years ago, they were great, especially for star watching, but nowhere to store them in a van.) ... show more

  • Nice overlanding chair
Color: Moss 1.0
This is a solid chair. It is a little small but not very noticeable. I am 6'3" and it fits pretty well. It is surprising heavy, but is very petite when folded. I took another brand on Mt last trip. It was very wobbly and took a little more effort to put together. I think this chair was much more stable and nicer. ... show more

  • Small, heavy duty. (Careful)
Color: Black V1
I like it. It’s small light weight and collapses easily. I’m thinking of buying one for my wife. Be mindful, there is a weight limit, so as long as you don’t push it, you should be fine. I am tall and it would be great if it had more back support. Other than that, I am happy. UPDATE! I just fell on my rear. Not sure what happened. A leg broke off. I’m not going to lie, the chair is great, I just wish it was sturdy. I was just bragging about how it’s incredible that it can hold me. lol ... show more
