I've repaired my old Clic reading glasses twice with wire connectors and epoxy. The new set looks greatly improved and hopefully will last a bit longer before breaking. The additional curvature of the neck band should help with breaking in that area (that took me a couple of years of vehicle maintenance and travel abuse to get to). These don't seem particularly sturdy but they hold up well to my carelessness when it comes to eyeglasses. The only downside to these is that it often take both hands to put them on, you can't just put them in a pocket, and can be a little awkward if the back of your head is resting against something (because they will be pushed forward, but this is still adjaustable/manageable). The clear upside is that they are always where I need them to be (because I misplace things) and I never worry about them falling off when I'm working in situations where I'm looking down. I've never had a screw back out on the older set, they are comfortable to wear, and almost no distortion in the lens. Be sure to check out their website for other models. I personnally intend to order a pair of the Clic progressive lens readers for my next purchase. If you're new to wearing readers this is the easy button as I broke, dropped, lost my fair share of readers (even in the first week). ... show more

I have used reading glasses for at least 15 years. I could make my next house payment with the money I’ve spent on lost glasses. Several years ago I saw these and tried a pair. OMG what a game changer! I just bought my second set (the first are getting scratched up but I kept them as a back up). The only reason I gave 4 stars is that they arrived with one lense popped out (tough to put back in) and the adjustment for the bow length was very hard to change (I’m a big guy and was afraid I’d break both sides trying to lengthen the bows).
