They cover your whole eye so it is impossible to look above them. I would definitely get the half lens in the future.

    • Great quality, makes a statement in a meeting, and the lenses are really durable.
Very impressive quality. The frames were very strong, easily resisted damage when sat upon, dropped, and even caught in the truck door. Did not withstand being stepped on, however, so I'm buying two new pairs. What's really kind of cool is the interest they generate from people who see you click or un-click them. I've been in any number of meetings, where I have to shift back and forth from my phone or the presentation screen, and I naturally have to switch from reading to distance, and back. People notice how the glasses work, and are fascinated by them. Everyone thinks they're "really neat" so be prepared to show them around. ... show more

While the concept is almost fully realized in its execution there is one overriding defect which demands immediate attention. The frame is great and comfortable to wear for long daily use. Yet when the time to remove the glasses for working on the face the magnets dislodge readily from the space they occupy on the nose bridge half piece. This the second pair i have bought because of its great fit on my face and staying securely in position. Still the looseness of the magnet cylinder is almost an intentional fault waiting to happen were I to be cynical. I do think that reengineering the bridge half piece with a metal cylinder or high tensile strength bond would confer a better grip on the loose magnet cylinder. Anyway I hope this gets the attention of the vendor to replace the frame. Or better still let the vendor describe how I the purchaser can fix this with readily accessible products. Or let the vendor send the exact frames with improved retention to replace the frames I am now using. Then I shall return the failed frames to them. In the case of the first frames I used super glue, blue adhesive , contact cement on the maget and inside the space . The magnet always slipped out after hours or one to two days. I have gone through many pairs of Clics, so I have a love/hate relationship. They are incredibly convenient, so much so that I find myself grabbing for them around my shoulders almost reflexively. And I keep buying them even though they don't stand up to wear and tear. Two big flaws, one in design, he other in manufacture. First, after a while the temple will break at the plastic and adjustable metal interface. I have tried many fixes and nothing works very well or for very long, so a replacement is necessary. The other is a simple manufacturing problem. The magnetic clasp at the nose pulls out of its socket. easy enought to put it back in place, but it's very small and easy to lose. A drop of glue or adhesive could fix it, but these are fairly pricey for readers, so having to mess with them doesn't seem right. The fact that I keep buying them is a testament to their usefulness, but it would be really nice if there was some sort of replacement warranty for these problems. This is not a fluke, it happens to evey pair and I have gone throught 6+ over the last few years. It's just that they're so damn handy ... show more
