  • I like. I like.
Color: Black Magnification Strength: 2.5 x
I've been wearing and swearing by Clics for years now – I've tried going back to ordinary readers from time to time out of necessity and/or curiosity, and I find that even with a neck strap on them they're just a nuisance anymore compared to Clics. For this most recent purchase I saw these Clics that fold and have a soft strap and was curious about that. My old style Clics with the harder plastic band never vexed me much; when I'd lie down on a pillow they would sort of pop out away from my face, but I'd just adjust them back in as needed. The one issue I felt I had with the harder band came up when I would put on my AirPods Max – the big, over-the-ear version of AirPods – and that would make the glasses squeeze together so that the lenses bowed outward at the magnet and that just didn't work very well at all...and it wasn't very comfortable besides. But even that issue considered, I didn't know how much of an advantage a soft strap would provide. Now I know: it's big. With the soft strap, the glasses barely move when I lie down on a pillow – they do a little bit, but not so much that I really even have to adjust them if I don't feel like bothering, and the entire AirPods issue is gone altogether. These are better even than ordinary glasses in that way. And as an added bonus, when the glasses are hanging around my neck, they're far more comfortable and far less noticeable than the version with the harder band. This will probably result in a multiplication of the times I start looking around for my Clics, not realizing they're hanging around my neck...but that's okay – I always find them eventually, haha. I'm not sure how advantageous it will be that they can be folded at the temples like ordinary glasses (I didn't even realize this was the case when I bought them)...but I guess it will expand my range of options for storing them when I take them off to go to sleep at night. So overall, the new Clics with the soft strap (and the folding temples) are a distinct and welcome improvement over the kind with the harder band. And we can hope that the soft band is going to prove more resilient over time and allow a pair of Clics to last longer without breaking than the old style did. I also like the more stylish look of the new version. I highly recommend. ... show more

  • Great product.
Color: Black Magnification Strength: 2.5 x
The glasses are great. Being able to keep them on my neck without a loose cord works wonderful for me. The only complaint I have is the loop needs to have a little more expansion length. I don't think it's a big deal for most people but I have a beard and because the loop is the length it is sometimes I catch my beard hair in them. ... show more

  • Very comfortable.
Color: Tortoise Magnification Strength: 2.5 x
I keep these in the boat and hang around when fishing. Getting older and need help tying me knots. You don’t even know they are there until you need them. They separate easily to hang around your neck and fasten from the magnets for use. Keeps me from forgetting where I left them.

  • Six months time, arm breaks...twice with separate pairs
Color: Clear Magnification Strength: 2.5 x
Bought a pair Dec 2024, bow broke in six months. Bought another pair June 2025, arm/bow again. Glued it and so far ok, but I would think they would last longer than six months. Contacted support twice in emails and never heard back or received a response. I like them, flexible but spending $75/$80 on two pairs in a year, makes me think twice to find another similiar product elsewhere. ... show more

  • Convenient and sturdy

My husband loves these readers. Convenient to have hanging from your neck. 3 people in our family who have seen my husband's pair, have since bought them for themselves

  • Longtime user of these and I love the latest update! Longtime user of these and I love the latest update!
Color: Clear Magnification Strength: 2.5 x
I have used the Clic reading glasses for years. I used to have multiple pairs around as my vision needs changed over the years. Cilc provides the full range of diopters that most people would need and they have frames in multiple colors. I like the clear ones as they kind of "blend in" with whatever I am wearing, which is a good thing. The most recent versions have a new design change which I like a lot. In the older versions, the neck strap was kind of rigid. It was not uncomfortable but you couldn't really fold it up to stick it in the console of your car or in a case. In this latest version, the neck strap is fully flexible. It is like a rubber or silicone material that is very flexible and easy to clean. They work great and are easy to keep track of since they live around your neck. My wife thinks they are not the most attractive, but I am all about function, and they do exactly what I need them to do. I highly recommend these readers... ... show more

  • Not the Clics I've known and loved.
Color: Clear Magnification Strength: 2.5 x
I love Clics. I bought my first pair in 2012. They finally gave up the ghost last year and having got 13 years of use out of them I didn't feel bad at all. In fact, over the years, I have bought two additional pairs. They're still going strong. However, after cataract surgery last year I needed to change the correction in my reading glasses. The foldable band variation had come out, and I thought I'd give them a try. Not good. Within the first month, the right rim broke. Clic replaced it after I submitted photos. Now, 9 months later, the foldable band broke in half. They ain't Clics anymore, and I'm three months past the 6-month warranty. I'll probably buy Clics again, but I'm not going to take a chance on the foldable band model. ... show more
