  • These really do work.
Yes, these actually work as advertised, and also cut glare from windows. Affect on color tones is minimal; no visual distortion. Never had a problem with the old monitors, but the newer screens -- ouch. Eyestrain, headaches, even nausea. Frame is large, but lightweight and quite comfortable. Fits well over my prescription glasses and gives extra coverage. Very, very pleased with purchase. Great value. ... show more

  • Fits nicely over plastic frames
These fit great over plastic frames . I kept seeing pictures of blue light blockers over metal frames with nose pieces and had a hard time figuring out if any were big enough to cover up my glasses but these fit well . It’s nice that they aren’t yellow on the lens.

  • Too Orange but work
Wearing these during long hours on the computer definitely made a difference to my eyes - way less pain and tearing. Biggest drawback is the change in the colors on my screen since all blue is wiped out so that greens are yellow and purples are red/brown. Really annoying while playing online to see landscape/ocean scenes so unnatural. I finally went to the eye doctor and was diagnosed and treated for dry eye syndrome and can now stare at my computer without the orange glasses and have no pain or tearing. Who would of guessed that with my eyes constantly running I had dry eyes? lol turns out my tears were very low quality and body was trying to compensate by making more of them. ... show more

  • Just what I needed!
I bought this pair to put over my prescription glasses and they are simply perfect. It does ease eye strain when I have to use the computer for a long time. Strange thing is I used them for the first time yesterday and last evening, and I slept much better and longer. It's probably a coincidence. But the most important thing for me is to protect my eyes hoping to prevent the onset of macular degeneration. I have two neighbors who both have macular degeneration and in the last year, their vision got even worse. Since there is no treatment for macular degeneration, I feel very badly about my neighbors who are worried about their deteriorating eye sights. I hope these really will protect my eyes. Another thing is, because of the strain on my eyes prior to getting these anti-blue light glasses, I had to reset the brightness and sharpness of my PC and TV screens so my eyes will feel more comfortable with the dimmer display but it's harder to read and see. Now I can reset them to the normal brightness and sharpness because these anti blue light glasses shields my eyes. One thing I do have to get adjusted to is the orange tint that these glasses come with. I feels like wearing sunglasses indoor. But my eyes feel comfortable watching TV and working on the PC. I can get used to it. ... show more

  • Pretty good blue blockers. And seems to be the best I can currently find.
They fit over my glasses just fine. And they reduce the short wavelengths and UV well enough to save my eyes from further cataract degradation. You can still see blue and green colors though they are slightly modified. And according to the specs these have the best blue blocking on the market today. However, my favorite blue blockers were the blue blockers of 25 years ago when those kinds of glasses first came out. Those blocked blue so well that tree leaves had no green at all. They were just dark brown. And anything blue looked black. This was actually an advantage when driving. The lens in you eye cannot focus on both ends of the visible spectrum at the same time. This is because your eye's lenses index of refraction is not constant across the visible spectrum. If you look at a sign that has red lettering with cobalt blue background it seems to pulsate. That's your lens adjusting to try to focus on either the red or the blue and it doesn't like to settle on a happy medium where both colors are just slightly out of focus. Those 25 year old blue blockers fixed that perfectly. Leaving your eyes to find the perfect focus for only the yellow, orange, red end of the spectrum. So everything was more sharply focused. Almost breath taking more sharply focused. The green and blue colors were slightly off but it was easy to deal with that. I could still easily tell the difference in a green light and a yellow light. If I could find those again I would by them in a minute. But these are the next best thing. ... show more

  • The glasses block 99.5% blue light
The glasses are comfortable. lightweight, packaged very well, and filter out 99.5% of the blue light. The glasses to me are one hue too dark for easy viewing of the computer screen, but maybe be if they were lighter you would not receive the 99.5% blue light-blocking benefit. If you want to supply a lens-wiping cloth, then do so with a quality one. This would be a good selling feature because the slightest smear on the leans makes reading difficult. But do not advertise that the black bag containing the glasses can be used as one -- it does not work. If the glasses were one hue lighter, and would have come with a quality lens cleaning cloth I would have rated this a 5 Star product. ... show more

  • GET IT!!! Great for animators & entreprenuers!
I'm an animator and entrepreneur. I spend all day, 6+ hours at the computer and these glasses have changed my life. When I first started my animation classes, I had orange blue light glasses (not this brand), which didn't really help because I would often take them off mid-way because I needed to see the actual color of things. I got burn out fast because the strain on my eyes were so great that my eyes wouldn't be rested; therefore, I was not rested. I bought these clear computer glasses and everything changed! I'm no longer tired after sitting at the computer for long periods of time, I have energy after being at the computer all day - energy to cook, go shopping, do what I have to. However, to make sure I keep from eyes getting tired, I use these also when watching TV and using my phone because those screens tire my eyes too. I also feel these modern lights in homes tire our eyes too cause I feel better using these glasses even when I'm not at the screen. With those precautions in place, I feel so great! These glasses are game-changers and I highly recommend them. ... show more
