  • Love this bag
Bag is good quality with tons of compartments. I have an IT business and do a moderate amount of low-voltage work and installations. With a conventional toolbox I would have to unpack everything with my tools all over the table/work area. With this bag I unzip the sides and bam all of my tools are organized easily accessible, my low-voltage specific tools on one side and general tools on the other: Updated 5/13/2015: Bag is still going strong with no real signs of wear/tear. You can really fit so much in this bag, sometimes I think it is bottomless. It would take 2 20" toolboxes to maybe fit everything with barley a fraction of the organization. Here is a "short" list of everything it holds for me and I am not going out my way to list every individual screwdriver or connector: Back Zip compartment: 16 screw drivers/nutdrivers, 20 3/8” sockets, 3 sets of pliers, 6" socket wrench, SAE and Metric set of Alen wrenches, Set of picks, 24 pieces of phillips/flat/square/torx bits, medium parts organizer, small parts organizer, 2 small spring loaded clamps, and a roll of electric tape. Front Zip compartment 2 rj45/11 crimpers, ethernet cable striper, coax cable striper, coax cable compression tool, 6-in-1 screwdriver, 110/66 block punch down tool, manual punch down tool, F connector tool, Folding drywall saw, rj45/rj11/rj12 male connectors, rj45 boots, rj45 keystone jacks, coax continuity tester, folding box knife, flashlight, 2 pocket-size retractable cable hook tools, no-contact voltage detector, 5 single gang wallplates, 4 decora keystone wallplates, forehead mounted light, tape measure, 2 coax splitters, keystone blanks, 5 total single and dual gange low-voltage brackets, zipties, hook-and-loop ties, single/dual gang template w/ built in level (by labor saving devices), Cable scissors, cable dikes, cable stripper, 20" drill extension Front/side pockets: 2 pairs of gloves, small tool belt organizer, medium tool belt organizer, hammer, Small pieces of romex, 3ft and 15ft ethernet patch cable, staple remover/prybar multi-tool, 2 contractor pencils, Shaprie, Folding serrated knife Update: 10/21/2021: This bag is still going strong with minimal signs of wear. Unfortunately CNC has changed the bag a bit and it seems the new version (with same model number) is not at the same level of quality. ... show more

  • The best tool bag ever. Period.
This bag is the best. Period. I work at a ski area and I can carry everything I need for maintenance with me. This bag is rugged and has tons of room. I carry complete sets of wrenches, adjustable wrenches, multiple screwdrivers, insulated screwdrivers, pliers, wire cutters/strippers, vise grips, wire brushes, utility knives, notepad, pens, electrical tape, marking tape, hex keys, Allen wrenches, bits, headlamp, hammer, multimeters, lockout/tag out, and spare parts. The here is so much room in this bag, you can carry everything you need. The rubber feet on the bottom are nice because I can set it down on the snow and not soak the bag. It is comfortable to wear on the back, and is nice because I can put it on and jump on a quad or ride up the chair lift comfortably and have all my tools with me, while still having my hands free. Plus, I can ski to where I need to with the bag on my back. It is comfortable to out on over a full body harness for when I need to climb towers or get to hard to reach places. The front flap is nice, I can slide my Fluke meter bag into there and have it easily accessible. I own another one of these bags as well, which I mainly keep at home. This bag is so nice, it makes my job so much easier and I know I have all my tools with me and I can quickly find them and get them to wherever I need to be in a timely manor. ... show more

  • Great bag......except
Im a commercial/industrial electrician so im climbing towers platforms you name it almost everyday, lugging a standard tool bag on one shoulder gets old fast. The build quality is outstanding on this bag I have no doubts about that, the two grab handles are extremely well stitched. The material is very thick just like what is on the regular tool bags. The pockets seem to be made for an electrician, there are at least 3 great places to store a meter. One of the main areas contains deep pockets that allow you to place a large beater screwdriver or a sheetrock saw, while the area in the back has pockets that are shorter so your tools wont fall all the way to the bottom of the pouch. Also instead of standard pouches that only allow you to fit a screwdriver in there are pockets that are shaped like a V so you can put say needle nose pliers/dikes/crimpers/linemans. Id say this bag has the best pocket layout I have seen. Double zippers so you can lock the pack up. Now the one flaw.....the bottom of the pack contains a piece of plastic to insure your tools dont poke through. Now thats great and all but the plastic piece is not rounded where it contacts your back so as you walk you feel that flat piece of plastic cutting into your back. I have had this same problem with tool bags where it digs into your leg and I either folded it or cut it out. Maybe with time it will get better but it really starts to hurt after climbing for a few minutes. If CLC could fix this one issue they would have the perfect bag. Update having used the bag for a while the plastic piece is not a problem. Having bent it a little and keeping items at the bottom to fill the void I cant even feel the plastic piece. The bag has had up very well so far, I plan on buying another one when this one wears out. ... show more
