This is a pretty snug fit on my standard chaise, but it does keep the cushion and pillows dry. My patio furniture is white, so within a week of being exposed to the elements it looks dirty. This year I spent some bucks on a new cushion and pillows for the thing and in order to keep them dry and nice I'd been storing them in my shed, but the problem was that the cushion and pillows were hogging all the space in there. So I decided to buy this cover so that I could keep the white furniture clean as well as not have to stow the cushion when not in use. Since I started using this cover we have had an entire week of rain. The cushion and pillows are still The only way I can use this cover is to have the recliner in the flat position and then it fits very snugly. Perhaps I could have ordered a larger size, but it does seem to be doing the job. The fabric has a nice heft to it, and there is elastic cording all the way around the bottom which seems to hold it in place very well. I am happy with my purchase. UPDATE Summer 2020: The cover looked just awful this spring. It was covered in dirt and black stains and green (algae) stains. Rain pools on it, so it gets gross, plus I left it in a pile on the side of my house all winter (forgot to store it). I was pretty sure I’d have to buy a new one, but decided to try and clean it. I didn’t want to damage the fabric with bleach, so I added a half cup of Oxy and a full cup of powdered laundry detergent to a gallon of hot water and with the cover flat on the ground, I got on all fours and used a scrub brush and elbow grease. I rinsed it and let it dry in the sun. It worked great! I recommend that you try this method before pitching it. I also discovered that I need to have the chaise with the seat back in the highest position and then this cover fits perfectly over the chaise, thick cushion, and lumbar pillow. Rarely am I this happy about a purchase. They are usually either what I expected or below average. But this cover is unbelievable. It's a super thick and durable heavy canvas cover, with thick elastic bands. I couldn't be happier! I'm going to see if they have other covers for my grill and pool heater. Don't hesitate to buy this. No need to shop around. This is what you want! PS: I ordered this on Sunday & it was delivered the very next day, on Monday "Juneteenth" - a federal holiday.... Bought this to protect my zero gravity lounge chair from dust and dirt. It's not in the sun or rain, and I bring it in during the winter. The color is ok - sort of dark tan. The elastic runs around the bottom edge, so keeps it in place. It seems like heavier and strong material. 4 stars because of the plastic-like odor. I'm hoping that dissipates over time. Wow! These are nice... very well made. Found covers in a wide variety of price ranges, but decided to try these at an admittedly moderate price. I love them! Bought two chaise lounge covers, a rectangular table cover and a cover for four stacked chairs. Am very impressed with the thickness of the rubber backed canvas. And the design has been well thought out. There are thick elastic cords around the base of all the covers and on the chair covers (both stacked and chaise), there is a “cut out” so the legs slip through them to prevent the covers from flying off in heavy winds. There are even air vents to further prevent them from blowing off. I’m sure I paid 2x as much ten years ago for covers and they held up but am thinking these will probably last that long as well. We live in Pennsylvania, so have four distinct seasons. We need water proofing, wind resistance, fabric that can stand freeze/thaw and snows and of course UV deterioration. I have all the confidence in the world that these covers will meet our expectations. ... show more

I have bought this cover twice. It looks great at first and seem very sturdy. After sitting out in sun for one winter and summer it starts to break down and gets rips all over.
