Great shoe for travel.

Bought these in size 9.5 wide for a 3 week vacation in Portugal as I needed a supportive but semi dressy shoes for evenings out. Walked many many miles in these shoes and they are very comfortable and have good cushion and arch support and they are lightweight. The leather is high quality and and the zippers make them more stylish than an athletic shoe. I have ankle issues and I would have given 5 stars if they had a bit more side to side stability, but overall a very good shoe. ... show more

Love these shoes, but sent back because of bunion

Really love the style of these shoes. Most Clark shoes that are wide size, usually are not wide enough for the one foot I have issues with. Clark's has so many styles I love, so I keep trying. Unfortunately, I had to return because they weren't wide enough for my right foot with the annoying bunion. My left foot is wide and the shoe fit great on it. If you have wide feet, but no bunions, I think you will be happy with them. These were nice shoes. I wish they would have worked out for me with the fit. ... show more

Squeaky, sock-hungry sneakers
Size: 9 Color: Navy Nubuc
I love Clarks shoes, from sneakers to loafers, flats to heels; however, Navy Nubuck sneakers just missed the mark. Sizing is accurate, but the nubuck squeaks. Conditioning helped for a while but the squeak returns. I could live with that, but these shoes also eat my socks (unless I wear knee-high compression socks, and who wants to do that every day unless medically necessary). I have similar (if not the same) shoes in both Bronze and Black leather and neither pair does this. On days I did wear the knee-high compression socks with them, they were very comfortable and easy to zip on/off. The color is a dusty navy, almost dark denim color and the laces a “dirty” white color, even fresh out of the box. I really want to like these, but I will be looking for another option as I don’t want to keep retrieving my socks every few steps. ... show more

Way too tight.

I love the look of this shoe. I ordered this shoe in a 9 medium and after wearing it in my house on carpeting it was too tight and hurt the side of my foot. I returned the shoe and purchased the same shoe in a 9W. It turns out the wide was the same size as the medium and after wearing it indoors again it really hurt my foot. I had bought the same shoe in tan in a shoe store and I loved the fit. I guess I have learned, a shoe store is the only way I will buy shoes from now on. Very comfortable
