  • There absalute junk
Wouldn't recommend these snowshoes I purchased a pair of these last winter and within a week the rivets that hold them together started breaking. I contacted yukon for warranty. They said there was nothing they could do.

  • H U G E
Size: 10-inch x 36-inch
My weight is 30 pounds below the lower limit of the larger size, so I figured fully weighed down with clothes and gear I would need the larger size. These are huge. People in my snowshoe hiking group were definitely commenting on how large these were. I think you could float on seven feet of fresh powder. They were a little awkward to use but did the job. ... show more

  • Weak frame
Size: 10-inch x 36-inch
After about 5 uses, I noticed that the aluminum tubing broke near the binding. I like the shoes but they shouldn't break like this. The break occurred at the end of an internal reinforcement which creates a stress concentration near a point of high load. Bad design in my opinion.

  • Great for what we wanted them for.
We purchased snowshoes for our children and were looking for some for us. We purchased these and they great in all the snow we had this winter. They are very easy to use; we are very happy with the purchase.

  • Not worth the money
Very disappointed, harnesses don't stay closed, and won't fit a size 13 boot. way over priced.

  • great quality snowshoes
I have owned Yukon brand snowshoes for years. I use them a couple times each winter and have enjoyed the workout and fun they provide. The size of these are for an adult up to 250 lbs. I tried them out the other day and they were easy to put on with the new and improved handle for tightening. Honestly the backstrap was what took me longer to figure out as I they didn't come with instructions. Once I did, they stayed securely on my feet for the duration of our excursion. I weigh 115 lbs and I felt like I was just gliding on the snow with these since they are longer than my usual size. My husband will normally wear these when we go out, but wanted to try them out myself. I'm looking forward to our next snowshoeing experience. Just need to purchase some poles, and then a storage bag for them all. ... show more

  • Excellent snowshoes
These are really nice snowshoes. They are sizable, but not too heavy. The front toe straps have a convenient handle to pull both of them tight at the same time. Same for loosening them. The heel strap doesn't ratchet, which is a bummer, but it has a rubber strap with holes. This works well enough, but it's easier to do with warm gloveless fingers than with gloves on when it's cold. There is a decent amount of pivot and the spikes are solid. Very happy with these. ... show more

  • Great basic snowshoe
We have a 50 acre park across the street that is great for snow-shoeing - lots of wide open areas and small groves of trees. They plow the jogging trails, but snow shoeing is great exercise as well. I've used these a few times this winter and have zero complaints. Well made, just hang them on wall hooks in the garage when done. Keep in mind you may need poles - I have some old ski poles and they work great. ... show more
