PERFECT! 55yo runner just recovered from a long stint of plantar fasciitis so was very concerned how these would work out. These were SO comfortable and not too high and not too flat. The arch was moderate; I never felt like I was putting stress on the tendon. I bought some no-show cushioned dress shoe liners to go with these shoes. I stood and danced all night long and never felt like me feet were tiring. FYI, when it says it's true to size; that's true to *regular* shoe size and like many runners I buy a size up from a regular shoe.

Toebox is usually a problem with many shoes I buy on Amazon, but this is perfect for my long, fat toes. The insole is comfy. That combined with a chunky heel makes the shoes perfect for long walking or standing without aching feet. I was lucky to get such a premium pair on such a super price deal…worth every dime. On my 2nd week back to work and my 2nd week wearing them. I’m finding it hard to put them back on the shoe stand because they are so comfy. I have had some very long days recently and at the end of each day, my legs no longer feel like hell but rather in foot heaven. I have no regrets buying.

I just ordered another pair of box toe in 9W from another company and they were unbearably painful and narrow. Clark's shoes are the same size, but they feel completely different! I love how comfortable these are. I'm not a big fan of showing my feet, but I wish people would include what their foot looks like when they leave shoe reviews. As you can see (sorry, hope the paleness hasn't blinded you), my feet and toes are wide, but I don't have fan toes. If someone has wide feet with fanned out toes, this shoe might not work, but if you have wide, rectangular feet, this shoe will prob work for you. Cheers!

Look, I’m a restaurant manager so I’mon my feet…a lot! I can wear these for my shift with only a moderate amount of uncomfortable. It’s usually about hour 5 that I’m feeling like ugh. But honestly it doesn’t matter what shoes i wear, that happens because who wouldn’t be sore after standing for 8+ hours?? These are great. Provide a good amount of arch support and are generously padded.

Great basic pump with the usual Clarks quality. However, they run really really BIG in length but narrow in width. I usually wear an 8.5 or 9 med width. Got the 8.5W for extra width but they were way too long. Exchanged for 8W and they are still rather roomy but comfortable. Excellent price on Amazon for Clarks, which are usually more than $80.

Leather comfort, plus heels, plus stability were important to me. I needed shoes that were closed toed for winter. I reviewed the size 8 wide before. This is a review for the 8.5 wide. Like a lot of people one foot is slightly larger than the other. For me it's my right foot. And, for some unfathomable reason after wearing them for about an hour, the insoles on the right foot of BOTH sizes felt bunched up under my toes and made them clench! It's impossible to walk comfortably with your toes clenched. So that's when I ordered the size larger - 8.5 wide - thinking that might solve the problem. No such luck. I ended up having to remove the insole and replace it with a flat one. So far so good. I guess I'll donate the size 8. I do like the shoes very much. I'm happy the new insole works for me.

Very comfortable from the first wear! Did not have that feeling of"im going to have to break them in" perfection. Wore them to a party and it felt like i had sneakers on. The box heal gave steadiness and they were very cute. I got many compliments.
