These are very comfortable shoes and would look good with dress slacks or jeans. They are a little loose, but will fit fine with medium-weight socks.

I'd agree with other reviews saying they have a small toe box. I got the wide -even though my feet are not wide- because it was the only one I could try in a store and I was afraid of the regular also being different in length (I have found clarks' sizes not being very consistent). They definitely feel too wide around the instep, but the toe box feels just the right size, which makes me think the regular would probably be too small. Overall they're pretty comfortable, but for me they do need a bit of breaking in (the back is still rubbing against my feet). ... show more

It’s not a heavy shoes, it support the ankles and the heels well. It does not need shoes polish to clean it just need a wet cloth and it can be worn for any occasions because it’s comfortable and you just push your feet in and zip very easy to handle shoes.

The Clarks loafers are well-made and fit true to size, but they fall short in a few areas for me. The arch support is decent, providing some comfort for extended wear. They’re lightweight, which makes them easy to wear for long periods without feeling heavy. However, I couldn’t zip them up because my instep is too high, which was disappointing since they fit well otherwise. This could be an issue for anyone with a similar foot shape. I normally wear B width shoes. The B was a little too snug in the toe box. The leather is thick/sturdy so I wasn't sure if they would stretch and conform to my feet. I tried Wide which is perfect with thicker (winter) socks. I like the sturdy leather -- it's perfect for Pacific Northwest winters which are hard on shoes. These shoes are beautiful and just what I wanted. I’ve worn Clark’s for years and are easily the most comfortable dress shoe I’ve ever had. I read other reviews and wasn’t worried that some thought they were narrow. I sometimes wear narrow shoes. They fit like a glove; HOWEVER, the heels were NOT narrow and I slipped right out of them when I walked. Therefore, I need to return them.
