I absolutely love these shoes! They look great with my “business casual” work look but I really think they’d look good with anything! I have been a Clarke’s fan for a long time, but I really haven’t been happy with their shoes in the last couple of years because the quality hasn’t been worth the money. But these are definitely at a great price for the overall quality and comfort. I ordered a wide just to make sure my bunion wouldn’t be cramped while I was getting the leather worked-in and it was a good decision. But I have to say that they will not need much working-in because they are made with soft, flexible leather. This style is also great because you can tie them once and then use the zipper to slide them on and off after that. I highly recommend these to anyone who doesn’t want to wear regular sneakers or athletic shoes but wants the comfort! ... show more

These are beautiful! Comfortable, supportive, and well-made! I tried them on expecting a lot since I have other pairs of Clarks that I love, and these did not disappoint. They feel like a supportive sneaker, but with the look of business casual (perfect for my teaching job). My dogs also seem to think they are great, pardon their appearance in the video - they thought they were helping. Also, just put up xmas decorations today, so everything was everywhere and they were excited. I have found this brand to be reliable and feel secure/safe on different footing, and while teaching for 8 or 9 hours in a day/afternoon/evening class set up. I walked around in these and they felt like they "should" for a well-made shoe, supportive but with some give in the insole, but not so much they felt too squishy or like they would not last. I am excited to wear them, I think the photos in the listing do not make them look as nice as they do while they are on! (regardless of my multi-sock, mismatched look!) I do think they fit true to size, I wear a 7, and these fit great. (the two pairs of socks I am wearing are not bulky). I would suggest getting your normal size, as I think they are on point for sizing. I would recommend these, and I am adding other colors. I switch between these and ecco brand leather sneakers/shoes for daily teaching, and while I think the other brand is very good too, these are more business-ish, in my opinion. ... show more

My shoes ran just a bit larger but I kept them and just tightened the laces. They’re easy to put on because they have zippers so you only need to tie the laces once. They’re comfortable and really look good.

This is a rubber soled leather, [oxford like} sneaker by Clarks. I would say that they are great for any kind of walking, especially if you were going considerable distance. I would say that they are mostly for city or suburban wear, but in some places they could be worn to work-very comfortable. They feel like they could last a while. They have a supportive orthopedic feel, so I guess it would depend on the original condition of the wearer as to whether they relieve pain.
