I absolutely love these shoes! They look great with my “business casual” work look but I really think they’d look good with anything! I have been a Clarke’s fan for a long time, but I really haven’t been happy with their shoes in the last couple of years because the quality hasn’t been worth the money. But these are definitely at a great price for the overall quality and comfort. I ordered a wide just to make sure my bunion wouldn’t be cramped while I was getting the leather worked-in and it was a good decision. But I have to say that they will not need much working-in because they are made with soft, flexible leather. This style is also great because you can tie them once and then use the zipper to slide them on and off after that. I highly recommend these to anyone who doesn’t want to wear regular sneakers or athletic shoes but wants the comfort! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. These are beautiful! Comfortable, supportive, and well-made! I tried them on expecting a lot since I have other pairs of Clarks that I love, and these did not disappoint. They feel like a supportive sneaker, but with the look of business casual (perfect for my teaching job). My dogs also seem to think they are great, pardon their appearance in the video - they thought they were helping. Also, just put up xmas decorations today, so everything was everywhere and they were excited. I have found this brand to be reliable and feel secure/safe on different footing, and while teaching for 8 or 9 hours in a day/afternoon/evening class set up. I walked around in these and they felt like they "should" for a well-made shoe, supportive but with some give in the insole, but not so much they felt too squishy or like they would not last. I am excited to wear them, I think the photos in the listing do not make them look as nice as they do while they are on! (regardless of my multi-sock, mismatched look!) I do think they fit true to size, I wear a 7, and these fit great. (the two pairs of socks I am wearing are not bulky). I would suggest getting your normal size, as I think they are on point for sizing. I would recommend these, and I am adding other colors. I switch between these and ecco brand leather sneakers/shoes for daily teaching, and while I think the other brand is very good too, these are more business-ish, in my opinion. ... show more

My shoes ran just a bit larger but I kept them and just tightened the laces. They’re easy to put on because they have zippers so you only need to tie the laces once. They’re comfortable and really look good.

Runs large and wide, totally different cut from all my other Clark shoes. I have 2 pr boots ,2 pr slip on shoes, laced high sneakers, and these in the same size 7 are wider, looser, impossible to tie tighter. I double checked the width, thinking they were wide. Nope. I love their workmanship, real leather, comfort, but these are nothing like the size of my other style shoes. Tried to order a 6 or 6.5 , out of stock. One of the best walking shoes if you have diabetic feet. Fit was perfect, no blistering from "breaking them in"and inside sole is extra cushioned. Easy to put on with the zippered design. Very good workmanship.

Disappointing Quality – Not What I Expected from Clarks I purchased both the 6 1/2 Wide and the regular size 7 in the Clarks Women's Caroline Janna Leather Side Zip Fashion Sneaker, hoping they would be a comfortable, stylish addition to my wardrobe. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the overall quality. The zipper is a major issue – it’s extremely difficult to zip and seems like it will stop functioning altogether very soon. The design is cute, especially the bronze metallic color, but the craftsmanship is lacking. Fit was another major concern. Despite trying both a regular and wide size, the shoes still didn’t work for me. The toe area felt tight, even in the wide, while the heel slipped up and down, creating an insecure fit. The shoes also felt stiff and uncomfortable, with no give in the material, making them feel much harder than I expected. For a brand like Clarks, which is known for comfort and quality, these shoes were a huge letdown. I ended up returning them and am now rethinking my future purchases from the brand. Unfortunately, the Caroline Janna style just didn’t live up to the reputation I’ve come to expect. ... show more
