I LOVE Clarks. I wear a 12 N and the podiatrist insisted that I never wear flats again because of my arches and tendency for Plantar Fasciitis. I have several pairs of Clarks slip on (Beverly) and they are terrific so I chose a similar support structure. Both pair ordered are the usual quality of Clarks but the narrow heel is just a little loose. For the first time in years, I may have to add heel pads to keep them from slipping up and down. I got it on sale as "Used, Very Good" - I'm assuming someone bought it and then returned it. Looks new to me, fits okay although I needed to use a Dr. Scholls' type insert to make it totally comfortable. I sometimes wear a 7&1/2, sometimes an 8, and this shoe is an 8. This shoe would be fine with jeans, slacks, even a skirt or dress if it's not too fancy. I haven't work it much but it looks like it will hold up well. I have a size 9, average to slightly slim foot.I don't usually get slim shoes though. I ordered a 9 and it fits perfectly. The support is comfortable. I haven't tired walking long distance in them, but they are not uncomfortable in any way. If you have a slightly wide foot,I would think these wouldn't fit you. The velcro band allows you to adjust them slightly, but there is a small amount of space to change the tightness of the strap. I wear these all the time with a black or grey pants. I also have them in brown, which I wear with jeans when I want to look dressier. ... show more

Very cute with jeans or shorts! Fits perfect! High quality! Extremely comfortable! Just wish the insole on the inside of the shoe was more like a leather or vinyl instead of a cloth one.
