I scrolled through so, so many black shoes and decided I liked the look of these. I primarily wear them to work so I want them to look nice, but I also go for a half-mile or so walk on my break every day, so they had to be comfortable enough for that. When I first got these they looked like they were going to be too small, but nope - they fit perfectly. I have a high arch and have always had trouble finding consistently comfortable shoes. There was no break-in period. I have been wearing them at least 3 days a week since I got them and they look nice and are so very comfortable for whatever I'm doing. I don't know how they do it, but Clarks always seems to make shoes that are comfortable from day one. These are no exception. I bought these to wear at work. They are very comfortable. I think they look good with slacks—casual or for work. I like the stitching and detailing. They are also sturdy.

These shoes are very comfortable and very good with alot of walking. But the pair that was sent to me had scratches all over them. I kept them because it was the only pair in my size.

These have become my new favorite shoes. They're a good height. They fit easily. I like that there's a little bit of stretch. Black is my color. They're easy to slip on. They seem rather sturdy and thick.

Very comfortable shoes, leather not stiff and very well made. Right from the get-go they are comfortable, no break in time. Now style-wise I normally wouldn’t choose this style, not crazy about the stitching design across top of foot, kind of moccasin style but comfortable. I’d say check out the pictures online of the stitching across the top of shoe prior to ordering so you know you could be ok with this style. Thin or thicker socks would work. The dark tan was the color I was looking for. Unfortunately, the 7 1/2 m was too long. There was a gap at the heel about 1/4- 3/8 inch. Too big to fix with any inserts or heel pads. The top part of the shoe over the toes was tight. The leather would probably stretch in time, but it is not comfortable like other styles were right away. The soles are smooth plastic and not the style I wanted. It would have looked better with the softer rubber soles. My low, no-show socks were visible over the top of the shoe.
