If the sandals were about 3/4" wider they would be perfect. The souls are soft which makes for comfortable walking but I can tell that they are going to wear faster too. I wore them on vacation right when I got them and by the end of our week, the traction was worn through at the ball and heal of the souls. I may have walked about 5 miles in them around the resort.

For Clarks, this should be sold and treated as their version of a foam shoe, related to Crocs or the Sketchers competitors. the straps are soft, but there is ZERO LEATHER or any real solid grip or rubber sole on these sandals. Would not enjoy wearing on concrete, out in nature with dirt, grit, rocks, or any actual area needing traction. Would be fine as fancy looking house shoes, still unknown if slippery on wet surfaces, wooden decks, or boating areas. Doubtful would be secure for river/ creek wear. Only tried on indoors, and sent back, because the heel area is oddly smaller than the forefoot, and did not fit at all. Wish I would have tried on in person, somewhere before ordering on Amazon.

All my Clark shoes in the past have fit well and been very comfortable until this pair. This pair is narrower than my other Clarks and the sole isn't very cushy. Kind of like strapping a pair of hard rubber to your feet. Would not recommend this particular shoe model.
