I bought these to replace a similar pair of Clark’s I had that were discontinued. The older pair was flatter and oiled leather; more expensive but a nicer shoe to be honest. At first, I kind of avoided wearing the new shoes. They were very light weight so felt weird. I didn’t like the shoe strings - maybe that’s a bit petty. I gradually started wearing them more and got some black strings. Now I’m used to them and wear them often. Overall, they are a good shoes. Comfortable and look pretty good. The last 2 pairs that I have ordered are not sized correctly. The are much smaller so I belive a bath of these shoes have been mis sized

My husband likes these and I think they look great. He is on his feet at a lot at work on some days. He can't wear them on those days because they aren't comfortable enough for that. But if behind a desk all day then these could work for you.
