Excellent bumper for the price! All my sensors work as they should. Had to remove one star because my BSM sensor boxes did not have the clips for the nuts to swap over to the new bumper. My sensor boxes unbolted via nuts with studs permanently affixed to the OEM bumper. Had to source some nuts for the provided bolts to mount my sensors. I included a photo of the not existent clips the instructions say to swap over.

Looks like I am going to return it because there is no information concerning a receiver hitch. The Tacoma OEM bumper has the receiver hitch integrated. This bumper does not have one and they do not mention how to install one and fail to mention directly anywhere that I can see that it does not have one.

This bumper sort of fit my third gen, but for the price point sort of is okay. It can’t exactly match the body of the rear bend panels and I had about a 3/8” gap on either side of the frame that the bolts bent the mounting brackets to meet. The mounting hardware for the bsm was different (and worse) than what was in the instructions and they neglected to include hardware for the license plate as described in the instructions too. The new location of the trailer plug is too far away for the harness to reach and I still haven’t solved that. However…. Good luck finding another bumper with bsm and parking sensors for under a grand.

Poor fit to factory mounting spots. CLAMBER bumper bracket and factory frame rail mounting location have a large gap between them, and the mounting hardware provided just barely has enough room to start the provided nut after using the shown washers and lock washer. This makes tightening the bumper difficult without a lot of force. This allows the bumper to very easily slip and tilt down when using it as a step or applying any downward force on the bumper itself. Will have to investigate how to accommodate the gap to allow the bumper to tighten properly to prevent unattended movement.

I liked the price. This was for the rear of my 22 Tacoma. I knew some of the quality wouldn’t be the best. It does support the back up sensors and lane assist sensors. The fit is very lacking. I had to cut the sides away for it to fit and had to build two shims to bolt it in place. The directions aren’t that great either. The black finish was really good. It might actually last a few winters before it Rusts. If you’re mechanical, you’ll have no problem installing this. It took me about two days to install. A bumper from expensive 4 x 4 outfit will be 3 to 4 times the price. Good luck
