The candles are packaged in a pretty box and the tin containers are also cute; however, there is no scent if you just want the warmth of a candle light then this is it, but if you want it to emit a fragrance then you are out of luck. In fairness, mosquitoes love me. I bought 2 of these as hostess gifts- kind of selfishly bc I knew we would be sitting outside when I went over. They are beautiful and look like a really nice substantial gifts and the hostess was excited to receive them- but I still got bit up.
