It fits very well for those with large wrists, it is very easy to fit medium wrists as well. Good quality, solid construction, the lume on the hands is very good on the markers it's not the same bright but it lasts the same with hands. It's pretty thick but it's not a problem for medium and large wrists, readability is pretty good and the value for the money is good. ... show more

First off this is my first Citizen. It is not my first watch however. All my other watches are automatics. I mention this because this watch is extremely light. I am more used to a watch with more heft to it. The light weight kind of makes it feel cheap. I know that it is not cheap it just feels like it. It is keeping excellent time. It's a good looking watch. I am disappointed in the rotating bezel. It is super difficult to turn. It has virtually no grip to the bezel. Not a deal breaker, I knew it wasn't a dive watch. You have to be really careful when you cut the band to size. Itvis really easy to accidently cut to much material near the resizing hole. I know this because I did not leave enough material and was worried it would not hold together. Luckily I kept the little piece I cut off and was able to super glue it back on. It seems to be holding up just fine. I am not easy on my beater watches. I will purchase another Citizen watch so I have an overall positive experience. ... show more

    • Great watch - heavy but know it going in!
Love this watch. Very heavy and a bit bigger than you might think it to be, but it is very nice to add to a collection, maybe not to wear as “daily wear”. Also be sure to note, if it starts to only show every 2 seconds it gets hung up while the secondhand goes around, give it a good charge in the sun or on a solar charger (another great investment to have with it during times of not wearing to keep it well charged). ... show more

    • Beware of returns
Just returned the watch but ordered another. I do hope the second one works. I have an eco drive in a Grand Complication, so I know about them. The power cell in this watch appeared to be a dud. Charged for 3 days. Instead of being able to live in the dark for six months on a charge, the watch was losing time after wearing continuously for two days. I hope the second is better. I do like the style of the watch and the band. It splits the fashion bill between a dress watch and something like an Apple Watch. Second watch delivered and was used and nonfunctional. Band had been cut by previous owner, who returned it obviously because it would not function. Not all documentation even included in the box. Amazon should not have sold this "return" as a "new" item. As an additional piece of information, Amazon delays refunds 30 days on anything where the purchase price with tax exceeds $200. That way, they make money on your money even when they have the item returned and have received credit from the vendor. I'm still waiting for a refund on the first watch yet am being billed payments for it. ... show more

Have had Witnauer, Bulova and Seiko's over the years but this was first Citizen. great look. The rubbery band could be more comfortable though.

So the watch itself is a beautiful masterpiece from Citizen. I am sad i had to send it back, but the blame lies with Amazon, not the watch itself. There were just too many problems with the purchase and the delivery. I wish i could have kept it but Amazon couldnt even GET IT to my house, so i terminated the order and returned it. ... show more
