Bought for my daughter for Christmas. I thought the boots would be clunky and heavy but they are not. The boots are slip and and are sized correctly even with socks. She plans to wear them not only with jeans but with dresses as well. Very comfy and they look great!

LOVED these boots straight out of the box. The details in the chunky design, the" overall look on my foot, and the fact that they can be worn with a majority of items in my wardrobe despite its "large scale" appearance. I wear these with jeans, to pants, to leggings and they complement them all very well. They were a tad bit loose for me as I have bony feet, but for the average foot, you should be more than fine. I wear them in comfort with a pair of thick socks. They have a bit of weight to them; however, I can walk around just fine and wear these all day with ease. They are also exceptional in the rain. I had been looking at these for awhile before I received them as a gift from my mom. First off, I should mention that I wear an 8 and order 8 1/2 in boots to account for thick socks. Secondly, I have curvy legs and wide calves. Thirdly, I have annoyingly high arches. These fit much better than I originally anticipated. Perfect 8 1/2! The foot bed is cushioned and has some bounce to it. I wore them for just under 6 hours at work tonight and actually enjoyed them. My feet hurt all the time, anyway, because none of my shoes support my arches properly and I’m more interested in aesthetics than comfort. These were seriously so much more comfortable that I could have possibly expected. I wore them around the house the first couple wears (wore them out dancing for a couple hours on the third wear) and noticed that the ankle up front does cut into me a little BUT after the fourth wear it’s much less noticeable. I didn’t end up with a blister tonight so I think the rubbing up front is just part of the process of breaking them in. The chunky sole is so cute and makes me feel a little extra spunky. I also love that they make me (5’6 /140lbs) almost 5’9 with the effect of longer legs! Super fun! All in all, these seem like they could be supportive enough for curvy bodies and the quality and price point is right. Some reviewers mention the sole breaking and I will absolutely update this review if that happens but I’m not planning on walking around the city much in them and will probably just wear them indoors. ... show more

I’m a girl who always wears a heel because I’m short. These were a good way to get that comfortably in the fall/winter and have me some height. I actually wanted the black but they were sold out and I’m glad because I would have never chose the brown ones!!!! I love the detail, the brown looks like worn leather. So cute and chic. Comfortable cushion when I walk and the ankles aren’t tight; perfect for wearing thick socks. They slip on easy with enough toe space. Even though they are platform I can walk regularly. I got one good year out of them and a lot of wear. After a few months I started getting blisters and had to get inserts for them and then they were extremely comfortable and I wore them all the time in the fall/winter. Unfortunately the sole completely cracked after just over a year. I wish they had a warranty or were made to last longer ... show more
