Everything came packed in a zippered light gray case with a black, adjustable shoulder strap and a carrying handle on one side, providing a secure way to transport my new drone. The case also features a large, flat zippered side pocket on top, suitable for storing my phone or tablet. Inside the case, I found the drone, the remote control, three lithium-ion batteries, four spare propellers, a user manual, a leaflet with a QR code linking to an instructional video, a tiny screwdriver, eight spare screws (that hold the blades), and two USB charging cables (one of which can connect to three batteries and charge them simultaneously). I read the entire manual and also watched the instructional video before using the drone to make sure I was properly prepared to operate it. The manual contained important warnings, such as not to fly above 150 meters or approx. 492 feet, which I was sure to adhere to. The video covered the basics such as propeller installation, battery replacement and charging, and how to connect to WiFi with the HFun fly app. Most importantly, it also taught me the pre-flight preparation, and how to calibrate the drone’s gyroscope, compass, and GPS. With the knowledge I gained from both the manual and video, I felt confident that I was ready to fly the drone. As mentioned previously, the instructional video covers the fundamentals of flight, as well as more advanced features like augmented reality. With the app, I can add an extra dose of fun by embedding an AR 3D model, like a whale, directly into the video stream. The drone can also perform two types of flight modes: Waypoint Flight and Surround Flight. waypoint flight allows me to program the drone to fly along a predetermined path, while surround flight enables the drone to autonomously circle around an object or area. I am an experienced user of the GPS following and return functions. With GPS following, the drone can autonomously track a selected target, and GPS return allows it to come back to its starting point. Both of these modes can be activated within the app. Of course, I can take pictures and videos with my drone. With its high-resolution camera and stabilizer, I am able to capture sharp and crystal clear images and videos from any angle. This will be especially useful for my real estate appraisals, as I can save time and get the job done quicker. I recently tried out the optical flow mode operation, even though I'm quite a newbie. In this flight mode, the drone is able to hover and remain suspended in the air with the camera facing downward, allowing it to track objects on the ground and adjust the drone's position accordingly. I found this mode particularly useful for tracking my own movement while jogging. In the video and manual, I also learned that I can control the drone with my palm and make it follow me. There are many more advanced features only available through the app. Plus, the app is user-friendly and allows me to quickly access many of the drone's different flight modes. The video omitted information on the three types of return to home functions. Pressing the return to home key activates the drone to fly back to its take off point. When the battery is below a certain voltage, the drone automatically returns home. Depending on the remaining charge, I may or may not have control. Additionally, the failsafe return to home function is triggered when the controller's signal is lost, prompting the drone to fly back to the recorded point. Though I have yet to experience low-battery or failsafe return to home, I successfully used the return to home key. The flight lasts approximately 30 minutes per battery, and I have three rechargeable batteries. This allows me to fly for 90 minutes in one session. The remote does not come with batteries, so I had to insert 3 AA batteries. What I had to get used to was that the LCD display of the drone's remote and the app use the metric system. So, the height and distance is measured in meters, while the speed is displayed in meters per second. I would have preferred kilometers per hour personally, as that is what I'm used to when driving cars while abroad. Additionally, I noticed the app also displays the speed at which the drone is ascending or descending. Furthermore, the app tells me how much storage is left in my SD card as well as the current voltage of the battery. In any case, I always use the app for all flights as it adds so many functions and makes the drone smart in my opinion. By the way, there are three different speed settings but none of them should make the drone fly too fast for it to go out of control. I would be especially careful under windy conditions, as the wind can make the drone's flying speed unpredictable, potentially causing it to crash into a building. As I almost experienced myself. Nowadays, I avoid flying under windy conditions. After two months of practice, I am now able to master all of the drone's features. I was able to fly the drone safely on my own after just one week, which is an impressive feat for a beginner. Despite the drone being more advanced than I initially anticipated, it was still suitable for me as a beginner. After only a week, I was able to understand the basic flight commands, and the accompanying app allows me to easily perform various complicated flight modes and maneuvers. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Easy to use, fits my large iPhone, extra batteries, and comes in a small package, I couldn’t ask for more! One of the best features about this drone is the fact that it has a camera protector when traveling outside of the padded case. Now you remove this one flying but the most delicate part of the drone is the camera. The small protective dome allows you to carry the drone outside of a larger case if you really need to pack it up into a small area. It came with three batteries which is great. And all replacement propellers and tools. It was very intuitive to use in the distance on the RC was amazing. Overall I highly recommend this for an advanced drone operator or new user.
