I bought these for a classroom, and I was surprised at how happy the nuns were with these products. They were able to whack kids on the hands with better accuracy, and the semi-flexible construction leaves whelts that the whole school can enjoy. Now before you call social services, know that i'm kidding... and before you cancel me, just remember that a sense of humor, even about taboo subjects, can make us all emotionally healthier. But seriously - these are great. They are actually flexible which helps keep them from breaking, they are easy to use, and the colorful nature means that they don't get lost as easy. I ordered a bunch of these for my classroom (I teach middle school math), and I should've known better. The kids like to play with them, and they're easily breakable if you're not careful. I imagine that they're better for lower grade levels though.

I purchased these for my 2nd Grade classroom and they're fine for random assignments but I don't see them holding up. The plastic is thin and breaks easily. 8 of them weren't even usable when they arrived because they had already shattered or had stress cracks all along them where they will clearly shatter soon once pressure is applied in those spots. (see image). There were enough that were still usable for me to keep them and not return them to Amazon but don't plan on these lasting you very long!
