This table was quite simple to assemble. It looks exactly like the advertised picture, so I am happy with those two pluses. However, this table is horribly wobbly... Not at All sturdy. I have tried everything from tightening the legs to placing the legs on hardwood vs carpeting and it is still quite shaky. When I barely bump it with my legs, all hell breaks loose and any liquid beverage sitting atop of it spills all over my magazines, books, notebooks and anything else I may have sitting on this table. I had planned on calling the company to ask for a refund or a replacement, but keep putting it off for fear they will do nothing. This was the easiest coffee table I’ve had to assemble. The instructions are self explanatory and the table itself is well made and stunning. I love the oblong shape personally and so do my guests. I purchased this table to serve as a coffee table 15% of the time and children’s play table 85%. It was actually significantly cheaper than a lot of wood play tables I searched for on Amazon. Given the low price I was expecting pretty low quality flat pack furniture which I was ok with because the kids will be eating here a lot once the vinyl play mat arrives to place beneath it. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality when I unpacked the table. It’s one level up from flat pack. The wood finish has a matte sheen and a slight rubberized texture. The tabletop edge is tapered inward giving the table a more finished look. All the assembly entailed was unscrewing black protective tips off bottom of table legs and screwing said table legs into the bottom of the table ~3 minutes. I can’t speak to the durability as I’ve only assembled it yesterday but it doesn’t seem like normal writing of ballpoint pen to paper is going to dent or leave impressions which is kind of my bare minimum expectation of it ... show more

I reached for my drink and slid the cup across it. Ordinary cup, no sharp bottom edges. Scratch. I was cleaning the surface after dinner and found a sticky spot from a spill. Used my fingernail to peel the edge so I could grab it with my cleaning wipe and it left a permanent scratch. Looks great, but won’t last long. ... show more
