This is more like a blanket than a comforter it’s thin but very soft on both sides. It washes well in cold water on delicates and I tumbled it around in my dryer with no heat for about an hour and it was dry enough to lay across my bed. When completely dry I brush all my faux fur with one of those pet slicker brushes and it looks brand new. It makes a good summer comforter/bedspread but I’m looking for a much thicker one when the cold weather sets in.

My 9 year old loves how cozy and soft this comforter is. It had no smell on arrival and minimal shedding. It goes through the wash fine as well. Very high quality and totally worth it.
