The material is a bit on the coarse side, but that I think also helps them hold their shape. My favorite pants. I’m a size 14/16 and the XL is perfect, but I will say they come up high so the elastic sits on my natural waist which is much smaller than my actual waist- if you’re not hour glass shaped the elastic might be tight.

I just received these today. They are a little big on me, but I bought them oversized just in case, and because I really wanted them to be loose. They are true to size, quite roomy, and very comfortable. The material is soft and not too thin, and it's non stretch, but the waist band is quite elastic and comfortable. The fabric is a nice blend, light weight, and perfect for warmer weather. It feels like a blend of linen and cotton. I love the gingham pattern, it's vibrant and cute, it's my new favorite style, kind of vintage, and I love all things vintage. You can dress this up with a nice blouse, even adding a necktie, or pearls, and you can wear a fedora or a newsboy cap with it, and a leather belt with a buckle, and oxfords or even pointy heels. Or you can wear with loafers or tennis shoes and a tshirt. I wish they had more colors, I'd get another pair or two. I really like this brand, I have several items I purchased from them. Their products have good quality and are sized well. The only thing I would change is the price, which is why I didn't give it 5 stars. It should be priced lower, because it really is a simple, very basic garment. I'd say no higher than $20.00.

I don't feel like they're see thru - I just wear my normal underwear and haven't been told I'm offending anyone, lol. Great value for the money.
