I wore this during my trip to Morocco. I wear a US 12 and bought a Size Medium based on the reviews saying to size down. Glad I listened, because it worked out for me and was really comfy. It was loose, but not super loose. I think I could have gotten a Size Small but that may have been pushing it. The sleeves are a bit snug (Asian cut), but you can roll them up to a degree. In sum, a cute purchase.

I bought this caftan/wearable tent for my mum, who wanted something cool, light and oversized to wear after showering during the warmer months when her condo reaches scary-hot indoor temps. Unlike the issues other reviewers had regarding poor construction, the garment we received was sewn well and the buttons all securely attached, though we had to invest some time in removing stay threads, which wasn't unexpected. The fabric wasn't scratchy as some others reported, and it will likely soften over time. My mother is hoping it that it will also shrink. So many garments -- even those sold under major brand names -- are now made overseas, and in different locations (because it's always wise to diversify your supply chain), even if the manufacturers are creating the same style/model garments. As a result, sizing and quality can differ widely, and that's possibly the reason the quality of these garments is so all over the place. Anyone who's made repeat purchases of their favorite bras and knickers or other apparel has probably been disappointed in the huge quality and sizing difference from one repeat order to another. Kudos to those who shared photos where they made this otherwise shapeless garment look almost chic. My otherwise fashionable mum chose a lager size than she'd normally wear, so we had a good laugh at how it magically transformed her into a frumpy-dumpy matron. If only it had even a bit of an A-line cut instead of straight all the way from top to bottom, it might give it more movement at the hem and eliminate the ballooning effect in the midriff area. My mum is 5'5" and the hem brushes the top of her feet. And the mid-section made her look like she'd instantly developed a man's very generous beer belly. Good for a giggle, but not exactly flattering. She's hoping a very hot wash will make it shrink a bit both in width and length, because she's decided to keep it as she'll only be wearing it in private, and it should at least be something cool to wear in the summer after a shower or a swim.

I have troubles finding summer dresses that fit in the hip area. So many of the summer dresses are not US sized. This dress has LOTS of room and I could have actually gone for the next smaller size and still had plenty of room. I'm going to keep it however and belt it. It is sheer but not terribly see-through. I will wear a light slip under it. It will be cool and comfortable in our Texas heat!

I bought this dress to wear around the house in the summer on hot days. The fabric is light and somewhat see-through but the stripes detract from what is underneath and so I don’t wear a slip. I wanted something light and cool and I didn’t want it to stick to me, rather have air flow through. It’s perfect for that. I bought a large and I like it for its roominess which adds to the comfort. I tried belting it but there’s too much fabric and it doesn’t lay right, I would say it’s best worn loose. I decided to sleep in it and used it as a night shirt, also very comfortable for that purpose. Sewn well, no loose threads or sloppy stitching. Washed wonderfully and did not need ironing. I am 5’ 2 and 145 lbs and bought a large. A medium would have fit just fine but I wanted the extra loose look. It came down to my ankles but I’m not tripping over it. I will wear this dress for years to come and it would also be perfect as a cover up for the beach, something to throw on after a shower while styling your hair and putting in make up, lounging around in, cooking/baking, laying in a couch to read or stitch. It’s very comfortable and loose without looking sloppy. The price is a great value. I would purchase this dress again on another color. It has pockets too!!!
