I have a special needs son who is 2 years old, but is the size of a 1 year old. I bought 2 of these cube chairs to use in his therapy room. I am so glad I purchased these! When put together, they act like chair and table. The high sides keep him snugly in the seat, when all he wants to do is run around. He sat in this chair longer than I've seen him sit anywhere! They are perfect for fine motor tasks and feeding and clean up really easily. We even put them together as a short chair and a tall chair and pretended it was a train car. These cubes are kind of like an empty box in that they present endless opportunity for building and pretend play. The chair is functional and it’s a perfect size for my 16 months old. It’s also sturdy with great support! However, it comes in second quality as there are a few scratches on the item.
