Re: Child Craft Lucas 2 - Piece Nursery Set with 4-in-1 Convertible Crib and 3 Drawer Dresser. Be careful with this set. It did not go through the off-gassing phase before it was delivered to us so when we set it up in our nursery it was giving off a strange smell that started to badly irritate our eyes, nose and throat. It is very dangerous to breathe in. We ended up contacting the seller about this issue and got a refund. This is not okay to sell to people! I hope people don't put their kids in these cribs that did not go through the off-gassing phase. There is lots of formaldehyde used and if inhaled for a long period of time it can cause cancer. Please google the harmful short term and long term effects! We ended up buying a used crib that's at least 5 years old and I feel a lot safer. I also ended up using an old dresser. This toxic set is tucked away and should not be used for a few years. I will not even try selling to anyone because it's dangerous. Aside from that I was not happy with the color match because it was off. The dresser looked like different material and color from the crib. This is why I am giving such a poor but honest review.

Love this concept ❤️ the bed was fine the dresser had 1000 parts and rails to slide drawers in was cheaply made . We had to go to hardware store to get stronger rails.

Received the dresser on that promised date but crib wasn't delivered until about 4 days late. When I opened the dresser the top had so many dings and scratches on it that it was very noticeable. The crib was beyond damaged chipped wood everywhere, the railing was slanted and not straight, the large piece was uneven with wood sticking out at the top. Just a complete mess and disappointment. The company provided a refund which I was thankful for but I was highly upset that I am stuck now looking for a crib so close to my delivery date.
