Our 6 year old still has trouble without training wheels, so I decided to get him this package with all protective gear included. He loves them!! Haven’t had them for long, but having the adjustmenable wheels to help him steady is an AMAZING perk!!! He’s not scared of them like he is the bike. Plus I think it will help his balance. We had something for him to hold on to right away when he got started but he only used it a couple times before he could do it on his own. We’ll see if the quality holds up, if you get anything for a little one I definitely suggest all he protective gear that is all included in this package. This is the only one I found at a decent price. Even 4 year old neighbor boy got a set so they could be twinsies! Im excited to see him transition from the the back wheels to regular roller blades. I bought these for my grandchildren and they LOVED them! It was one of my grandson’s birthdate and we decided to throw an inline skates party. It was a hit! It was the first time that any of them had used inline skates, so it came very handy that it came with two wheels on the back. The birthday boy learn within 20 minutes of using these skates. They all had a blast! This is definitely a great gift, I would recommend buying these skates if you want to teach your children or grandchildren to learn to skate. I like the way the laces tighten underneath the strap. I love that they adjust as the child grows, which avoids the cost of having to buy them a new pair next year. These came very well organized in a backpack with helmet, wrist guards, and knee pads. The only thing I didn’t like was the quality of the accessories (helmet, wrist guards, and knee pads) for that reason I’m giving this product a 4 star instead of 5; the helmet offers no significant protection on a fall. The helmet came right off on the first fall and these were adjusted for each child, so this was disappointing. The knee pads and wrist guards were very cheaply made, didn’t last them a week.
