It appears from the pictures that the bedspread is heavy- no. It is very light and it is not a thick comforter. This is a wonderful summer bedspread, especially if you are hot. Otherwise, it will not keep you warm. It is a decent weight, I suppose, but it is more decorative than functional if you are looking for warmth. The throw pillows are lightweight and somewhat delicate. However, as little as they are used, it should not matter. The bedspread looks beautiful and elegant. The bedskirt seems a bit skimpy and lower quality in color and material, but it does suffice considering the bedspread and pattern look so classy and it is not the focal point. This is a beautiful bedspread, very bright, soft and light weight. I'm not sure of the washability. The material is not thick at all. From past experience, there's not enough stitching to hold down the padding. Wish I had known that before I purchased. The small pillows that come with it are way too small for a king size bed, they are a better fit for a twin bed. It has now been about a week since I received it and it's already beginning to look like I've had it for years. I should have opted for a well-stitched, better-quality bedspread. It was really nice the only thing I don't like about it is the pillows come flat they are supposed to be rounded and squished so bad that it's staying flat so it's not very good other than that has no sheet or top sheet so you will have to buy those separate and only comes with one set of shams no pillow cases I thought when I purchased this that it came with all that but apparently it didn't but other than that it's okay for the price was expecting a little nicer of a product for what I spent but for the most part I am satisfied ... show more

We purchased a $300 comforter set when we got our new bedroom suit. I needed another one, for a backup. (Other needs to be dry cleaned) I wanted something that would go well with out bedroom suit. (I added a few pillows from our previous set) It may not have the BIG decor pillow (we bought the queen sheets set that has 4 pillow cases, instead of 2) but with the extra 2 black cases, it looks wonderful. I've read lots of comments/reviews on how it looks cheap or feels cheap. But look at the pics I have posted. Does this really look cheap to you? That's why I said you can make anything cheap beautiful. Just have to know how to do it. Very pleased with our extra bedding. I've also read about the color isn't what it looks like (in the pics of the bedding) BUT if you see if the description and pics it shows, it shows what it looks like in diff lighting. So disappointed have ordered comforter set from this company was very pleased. However this comfort not pleased at all. The comforter and bed skirt had been vacuum packed and was so flat, the decorative pillow had been vacuum sealed and was as flat as a pancake not joking and the queen comforter was not much bigger. The bed skirt was so wrinkled tried press the bed skirt as best I could with not much success. In the past years I have purchased comforter set in a zip bag and never ever seen the likes of this set. Will never order from this company again ... show more

This bed set and matching curtains are beautiful. It does have a lot of wrinkles upon arrival but I had them cleaned and steam pressed and they look wonderful. The comforter is thick but doesn’t smother us, the pillow shams hold their shape and the decorative pillows are just perfect. I recommend these items. ... show more
