I got these for myself and my boyfriend, because he is always chewing on his fingernails and bottle caps and I am constantly grinding my teeth and chewing on my jaw. These are pretty thick, but as you can imagine they get worn down on the very end after a while and split open. Overall they are great quality and you get a lot for the price. I found the sensory benefits to be really calming, these things are addictive! You will literally chew until your jaw hurts, but it doesn't damage you in any way, so super effective. I like the style and did not feel silly wearing it. 100% recommend.

This is really a great stem however they are not very durable for aggressive chewers. They are a little too hard and they wear out in one day. The thickness is great and the teething ability kinda hurts your jaw dramatically. You get used to it though. This product is great from non aggressive chewers. It does have a little bit of a bad taste. Even after washing several times. I will buy this product again and I am greatly appreciative for the price. However I will need to buy like 4 packs a month.

I got these chew necklaces for a few of my students who use chewy tools for sensory regulation, and they’ve been a fantastic addition to our classroom. The variety in the pack is great—there’s something for everyone in terms of color and texture. They’ve held up really well even with daily use, which says a lot considering how tough some of my kiddos can be on their chewy items! Overall: Good value, safe, doesn't come apart in chunks, but does split with aggressive chewing. Got these for our 6-year-old who chews on everything he can get his hands on. We have been getting on his case to stop chewing sticks, rocks, paper, pencils... you name it. He was overjoyed to receive these as his own that he can chew on to his hearts content! Our boy is an aggressive chewer. He couldn't bite anything off to choke on... so kudos to the manufacturer! He was able to bit hard enough to split the rubber internally, however, and inside two days had the business end of one of the totems flayed open as if we carefully cut it down the middle. There are 8 in the bag, so it's cost effective enough to not worry me too much. Like any kid, he slowed down on it a few days into having this bag of chewies. The safety snap on the neck string comes apart easy enough to not worry about choking when running around the play ground, but I still don't let him sleep with this around his neck... safety snap or not, weird things happen at night. The silicone piece is small enough to be satisfying for him to chew on, but big enough, that he doesn't risk damaging his teeth or jaw during the process.

Do not last long for kiddos that chew a lot. My son chews most of the day and the portion where the string goes through starts to break down easily. Would NOT recommend for high sensory chewers.

One of my son’s teachers actually got him one of these because he kept chewing on his shirt in school, coming home with soaked shirts and stretched out necklines. He’s 6 and has ADHD, so now he uses these and they’re perfect. He’s able to chew on them instead of his shirts, they can go in the dishwasher or be sanitized by steaming them in the microwave or a pot, and he can choose a ton of colors. When he’s chewing on one of these, he’s getting enough sensory input that he also is a little more inclined to work on his schoolwork and pay attention! Highly recommend to save shirts and help them focus!
