I would definitely order your usual size. If I truly followed their size chart I would have ordered a size up, but actually small fits great. My waist size is around 29-30 and my hips are a 39. Bust 34-35. The small does bunch up a bit in the back since it's made for 38cm hip, but not a big deal for me. The wine scrub top can fit bigger waists than advertised for sure because small supposedly fits 26-27cm waists. I also wore the size medium in white for years during nursing school so someone with my measurements will be able to fit both small and medium. Just depends what you want out of your top. I will say medium exposed me to more possible 'down the shirt' viewing issues especially with a heavy badge. The size small mitigated that issue much more. I warm wash my scrubs and so far after a few weeks of wear as an ECT my scrubs have not shrunk and they don't seem to have faded much. The white scrub tops I've had for 2 years and never once shrunk. I've had my scrub pants in wine during nursing school for 2 years now and it looks a little faded, but still going strong and they're softer now than when I first got them. The material can get a little hot especially if you're like me and run 10 degrees warmer than the average person, if you wear iso gowns most of your day (I was in Burn ICU for 2 months and sweat was a big problem, but maybe I would have sweat no matter what.), or are an ECT and walk or move around most of the shift. If you're a typical nurse like in a critical care type environment (1-2 patients) or any where you're not running long distances each shift you'll be perfectly comfortable even when you run hot and you'll be fine if you tend to be colder than your average person. The material is otherwise comfortable and durable enough for warm wash (unlike my Jockey scrubs which pilled and shrank w/ warm wash), and has plenty of pocket space, which is all I really care about in a scrub top. If these scrub tops fit, they're worth the money considering how much wear you can get out of them. ... show more

    • Runs smaller than the workwear line but I love the style!

I was conflicted on what size to order. I'm 5'6", 140lbs, 36A. I can wear a XS (tight fit) or a S (still fitted but roomier) in the classic V-Neck workwear top (#4700). Based on that, the reviews and the size chart I ordered a S. It was too small, I could get it on but it was way to fitted to wear a long sleeve shirt underneath and have room for things in my pockets. I exchanged it for a M and that fits much better. It still looks fitted but I can move around, wear a shirt underneath and have plenty of room in my pockets. The seams and shape give it a more feminine look, the length is slightly longer and the pockets are deeper than the traditional Cherokee v-neck. The fabric isn't super soft like the Grey's Anatomy line but it is softer and has more stretch than Cherokee Workwear. I will definitely be buying more of these and I'll probably give the Core Stretch pants a try. ... show more

    • My favorite scrubs
The Cherokee core stretch line is by far my favorite line of scrubs. I have been wearing this particular top but in a different color for over a year and it's always the first scrub top I reach for during the week. As for the fit, I have found pretty consistently that I wear an XL in a stretch scrub top and a 2xl in a non-stretch. top. This top does stretch and the usual XL size top fits me well (I would personally compare it to an 18-20). The color grape is a very vibrant purple, but it's not offensive or too youthful. It's pretty true to the color as it is represented here on the website. I love the pockets on this top. I like having multiple little front and larger pockets to separate all the things I carry while I am on the go. The material is soft and breathable so you don't get overheated while running around. I also love the slightly fitted style. I look for something that is feminine but not too graphic, and this top certainly looks professional. I will certainly be buying this top again in other colors. This xxl is s roomy xl. Not to be confused with a true plus size 2x. It’s slightly “fitted” but not as much as the plain Cherokee mock wrap with the back ties. This one had s little stretch. Judy enough to feel good without that slimy feeling of stretch scrubs. And not the stuff scratch feeling of the plain, Inexpensive ones. I like them a lot. ... show more

    • LOVE THE FIT!!
I needed white scrubs for a Certified Nursing Assistant Clinical and shopped all over the city for this brand of a scrub top but could NOT find the size I wanted or a plain white color. I was so happy to find it on Amazon. I was going back and forth between buying a 2x or 3x. I'm glad I went with the 3x because working as a CNA u bend a lot so u DO need a top that fits but also have a little extra room to permit you to move around freely while having supplies or small notebook in your pocket. My waist is a 42" and I can comfortably fit a 2x (39-42" waist/50-53" hip) with this scrub brand but because I wanted a little extra space to accommodate my 53.5" hips..who am i kidding let's just round that up to 54" hips hahaha, I went with the 3x. I am very pleased with this order. The top covers my hips AND bottom which allows me to bend without having to pull my top down every time I come back to standing position which can get annoying. Style: The top comes as pictured. Its V-neck and has 2 pockets a little below waist level. The seams of this top are very cute and feminine, complimenting my curves very well. I definitely look slimmer wearing them and have received lots of compliments! I did not have a problem with dryer shrinkage either. I like this top, I have had others just like it. The problem is, all the colors fit differently. They run tight across the bust, so size up if you need to. For those who like a little more coverage, this top is a little longer, which is nice. It is not fitted in me and gives me some room to move. It works, I would love one that fits a bit better in places, but this works for now. would have been nice to receive a new, never worn one, seeing as I paid for a brand new one. ... show more
