I have been wearing leggings for summer pants for about five years and love the comfort. I have diabetes and foot/ankle swelling has made them no longer work for me. I decided to try scrubs because they are lightweight and durable. Depending on the pant, I buy either petite or regular, and I wear an XL size. These pants are made from a very soft, lovely to the touch fabric that is lightweight for summer use for me (especially this summer!) They have three sets of pockets: hip, front and leg. Most of my cheap pants and the leggings don't have any so I love this. The straight legs are slightly tapered so no excess fabric is flopping around at the ankle/cuff area. I can wear compression socks with ease under these. The downside for me is the weird cut. The circumference of the thigh and hip area is fine making sitting and bending comfortable. The problem is with the rise; it is perfect in back and about four inches too high in front! I ordered regular length, but these are the longest legs I have seen on regulars. They are at least three inches too long on me. I sew (standard machine and serger) so I can easily alter these. The next size down would be too small in girth, and ordering petite may mean an even worse fit in the rise. I shall keep them and make adjustments as needed. ... show more

I am 5’5 172 lbs and typically wear a medium top and large bottom for reference. I ordered medium bottoms and it shapes me nicely but it’s still slightly too loose! I would definitely not fit a small but I wish there was something inbetween. i like that both legs have a cargo pocket, not just the right leg like other scrub pants. compared to dickies (size small) these fit way too big. there is no drawstring so all day today i kept having to pull them up, but they would not stay. i will be returning this pair, but when they go on sale i'll buy a smaller size. ... show more

I got these for my wife, who recently completed an RN degree and has since started as a nurse in a local major hospital. They are pretty nice overall. The pants (or "bottoms" as they are apparently called) fit very well, which is good because it is often hard to determine proper sizing (i.e., is it a size 8 in US size or Size 8 in Chinese size). Anyway, they appear to be made quite well, come with a couple of pockets (I am pretty sure by the end of the year, an additional eight bags will not be enough), and have both a stretch band and tie string. She says they are very comfortable too, so that is a plus. Another nice thing is that when you order the women's scrubs, they are cut for a woman's body so they won't look like a prison suit. If you are looking for them, I can highly recommend these (at least so far), but I would suggest you order a couple of sets, so that you can alternate, and also know that they will usually ship separately for some strange reason. ... show more

I measured myself and Amazon recommended size small. As everything I have purchased online has been too big I ordered extra small. Extra small still huge. I have to double over the waist and the legs are still right to the ground and just very baggy. I live on an island so can’t send them back I am 5ft 3 ins and 110lbs. That’s not tiny.
